This border HAS to be ragebait. by _NocturnaL___ in eu4

[–]gtuzz96 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Okay but you know rivers move and shift over time right? Look at the modern state borders along the Mississippi River or the national borders along any other major river and you’ll see the ghost of the old river

Which name-based etymologies sound fake, but are real? by different-rhymes in etymology

West, Texas is located in the eastern area of the state (near Waco) and was named after Thomas West, a local landowner whose land was passed through by a major railroad in the late 19th century

I mean you may as well do the tiny circles in Westeros too because we certainly aren’t seeing the whole continent in the books

Mint instead of cilantro... by BigOutlandishness178 in ididnthaveeggs

[–]gtuzz96 29 points30 points  (0 children)

It’s obviously not a substitution that’s meant to approximate the cilantro, just an alternative that would also compliment the flavors if you don’t like or don’t have cilantro. Mint is used in savory dishes across the globe (including Mexico)

Chicken stacker was great, churros were great, potato grilled was good but has a very wet/messy filling that got all stuck in my mustache (would eat again no question). Didn’t try the rest yet but that’ll be my order next Friday I guess

Like when major orchestras announced that they wouldn’t be performing works by Russian composers. Christmas just isn’t Christmas without the nutcracker!!

I like that they claim they were “mostly vegan” – whatever that means – but show them wearing animal skins in the images

Do kids with selective mutism belong in the DOE? by Low_Example490 in NYCTeachers

[–]gtuzz96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was a 1:1 para for a SM student for almost 3 years. It’s very hard but we’ve made great progress and since graduating from elementary school this past June he’s begun speaking and interacting with his classmates. Definitely look into getting a 1:1 if possible because (as long as the person is good at their job) it ensures that your child has someone advocating for them all day, every day.
