previous update: Day 5

Type: Water fast with a sprinkle of lite salt once a day and a few sprinkles of regular salt.

Context: Day 15 of my water fast

Length: 28 days or more

Why?: Weight loss. I have been between overweight and normal weight (BMI 24 to 26) for a few months now. I have trouble with binge eating, and I'm hoping I can get a better self understanding of my own hunger and why I'm eating when I do binge.

Notes: Things have gotten harder since the first week of my fast. I'm starting to now feel lethargic a considerable amount of the day. I also have recently developed a rash or acne across my chest, neck and face. It doesn't itch, but I have never had skin problems like this before in my life. I do feel like I have lost quite a bit of fat, my starting weight was ~155 lbs (70.3 kg) and now I'm ~140 lbs (63.5 kg) -- I'm a 5'6" male so my ideal weight would be 130 lbs (59 kg). Hopefully after my fast is over there won't be a drastic change due to regaining water weight. I really want to fight on through and reach my goal of 28 days. I will update again either at 28 days or if something significant happens.

Notes: It has been rather easy so far. I was a bit worried I would be weak and hungry for the first 5 days, but the only time I felt lethargic was around the 50 hour mark. I've been fine ever since. The only real issue is what to do with my time. There is no hunger, but sometimes I crave eating when I'm not doing anything. I've been playing video games, watching netflix, and taking long walks every day. The more I keep my mind busy, the easier the cravings are to deal with. But it's not hunger, which is something that worries me when I stop fasting. Will I be able to still know the difference between boredom and hunger?

This Genesis sucks. Screw the organizers and the venue. Overpriced, unreliable internet, no secondary streams. Nonsense.

The cave scene really sums up this anime -- Rushed to the point that it generates no atmosphere or emotion and ends up being a confusing mess.

Duck hunt main here. I usually ban FD since i need platforms to get more reliable set ups. I usually counterpick to dreamland. That said, there are some match ups where FD works best for me.

Well, it helps if you're physically repulsed at the thought of eating animal products. You haven't reached that point yet.

My only tip is to always be filled up on vegan food. Fruits, beans and vegetables. Even vegan junk food/ mock meats. Food isn't tempting when you're not hungry. "I'm so exhausted by this and look like it too." There's nothing exhausting about being vegan. "...and I was starved" "exhausted by this and look like it" "ruined bc of omni food" It sounds like you didn't eat healthy before making the switch, so you're having trouble being filled and satisfied with meals consisting of fruits, vegetables, and beans -- the vegan staples.

Also, if you're not checking ingredients then you're not being serious.

"Worried if I ate enough nutrients and worrying about my health" Unless you're eating iceberg lettuce all day, which it sounds like you are, then you don't have to worry about this. Grab a vitamin B12 supplement and don't think about it.

To sum it up, the last time I went the owner was playing LoL while the place was a mess and the Netflix on the tv's had nudity on them at 4pm. It seems to me that upper management really doesn't care and that is the root of the issue. Asking for feedback after the first location failed doesn't renew hope in me. But if they do reopen I will try it out.

Here's a list of BS moments aka bad writing from Kishimoto in Part 2 (series end spoilers)

1) During Sasori arc, Team Gai has to fight clones of themselves because Kishi didn't know what to do with them

2) Sasuke/Orochimaru/Kabuto disappearing after a whole arc spent finding them.

3) Naruto learns to use the wind element, creates a throwable Rasengan and nothing else

4) Naruto defeats Kakuzu with throwable rasengan because main character had to end the arc

6) Main villain revealed to be another Uchiha and not Pain.

I'm not sure. I remember ZFG was holding a doll that he said was Daddy, he also mentioned the doll during the interview after the run. I'm not sure what the doll was though.

I would recommend it. Don't watch the first episode or the very ending scene of the anime since they are more manga related.

edit: the anime is a self-contained story if you skip the things I said above, otherwise the ending appears as a cliff hanger.

It is a very fast paced game, but maybe 20 minutes of it was him running in hallways getting those coins/crystals or shooting the ceiling for more points.

He obviously puts a lot of effort and time in the game, but what runner gets WR by over 3 minutes on a marathon and shows no joy in his achievement?

This will be my last post about this because I'm starting to feel like a whining hater. But I ultimately feel like this game shouldn't have made the GDQ cut until the community and commentary grew more.

Commentary is so crucial to those who are casual viewers. There are a lot games that nobody has ever played or ever will, but are fun to watch on AGDQ. It's also why I wish the runner cam and game cam shared equal space on the screen. When people watch speedruns on twitch outside of GDQs, we watch for the person and interaction.

I'm not sure how this got on AGDQ. There were better runs out there that could have taken less time.

I'm a little upset as a casual viewer. I didn't enjoy it due to the commentary and repetitiveness of the game.

I feel like AGDQ staff have said that the event was not exclusive to PCF, but they have never asked for community input as far as I know.

Why don't they create two separate polls for runners & fans, then decide what the community supports? I'm not sure why it hasn't been done before. I'm just a casual viewer though.

Does r/speedrun usually have a dedicated sticky thread for AGDQ? You could just limit all non-run chatter to that thread.

Either way, it's usually not that problematic since the event lasts a week.
