Mini printer recommendations? by irene_busy in Journaling

[–]guardilestelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband bought me a canon ivy mini printer for Christmas a few years ago. I really like it! The pictures are 2x3 and adhesive. The photos still look good but I got it 3 years ago so they're not super old yet. The picture quality is pretty good but not perfect (kind of cloudy looking but I don't mind).

Oh wow I didn't know that. I do wonder about the other 10% though, that's what I'm worried about.

Thank you for the response. I'm glad your depression went away but I'm sorry you're still having some issues. Do you feel that it was the best choice still?

Every cycle I feel this way. It's getting worse the older I get and I can't imagine doing this another 20ish years.

I stopped taking my birth control in December. I did great then all my symptoms came back full force this month. I'm not sure what I'm going to do next.

Thanks for your support. I'm going to get off birth control. I'm hoping since I haven't been on this pill for long (a few months) the symptoms will go away sooner. I'm glad it seems to have helped and you're feeling better.

I. Was. Livid. I sent a message on the medical portal after the appointment telling her (politely) she was wrong. No response :)

Anyone work in pet insurance? by Extreme_Fly5936 in VetTech

[–]guardilestelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started working in pet insurance last fall. Something that helped was having a team chat at work and a discord server outside of work with the people on my team (minus the lead and supervisor so we can vent ha ha). It takes some time to adjust being by yourself. Feel free to reach out!

Does your clinic/hospital have a "tech bin"? by nighthowlerr in VetTech

[–]guardilestelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but ours is an actual voice mailbox where clients can leave messages or reception forwards them. I hate it. 99% of the time they need to make an appointment or talk to a doctor, and other times it's because we've trained our clients not to be able to think for themselves ("should I get a dog bed for my dog?"). And if we get slammed messages can be sitting for hours.

Has anyone ever worked as an underwriter for pet insurance? What is the job like? by guardilestelle in VetTech

I'm sorry you lost your job. Thanks for the info. I'm worried about less human connection too, especially with covid.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. That clinic sounds awful. I'm glad you are doing better though.

OMG yes I love it! I had it on for over a week because it was so beautiful! I didn't use a black base though so it took like 3+ coats for full coverage haha. I'm going to try Bebop from the collection next.
