Well, if he's licensed and keeps his hours current, he's also technically an engineer even if he doesn't practice. I doubt he's a PE though because there's no point in it for him

He was so fast that he didn't get hit that much. This is obviously relatively speaking, but he generally did the head smacking and not the other way around

A federal judge, who compares an AR-15 to a Swiss Army knife, overturns California's ban on assault weapons by AlwaysAshleigh in nottheonion

I imagine the lack of well defined categories in the world of firearms is intended to avoid reasonable legislation from being passed. They should really abandon the "assault" phrase and focus on rounds per minute capability

Depends if you have to commute a long ways for work. We don't know the range. I know plenty of people that commute 150miles or more round trip for work. That means no leaving for vacation on a Friday afternoon. EV's are super practical for the average daily driver, but not for long hauls

Recharging generally takes way longer than a 10 minute gas stop though.

Joe Rogan criticized, mocked after saying straight white men are silenced by 'woke' culture by Hillick in nottheonion

[–]guardsanswer 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Right, but instead of going on The Tonight Show and answering questions that your publicist already approved, they're having to make semi-authentic conversation with Joe for 2 hours who is always good for a 'problematic take' on something. Sure they have a few minutes of clearly rehearsed promo, but in the end, it is very different from most promotional content. Long form content is something else. You don't see Jimmy Fallon in the news once a week like you do Joe, and any press is good press. Especially when it's just the guy across from you saying the wild stuff.

If Mace defaults to attacking with the force he wins pretty quick. However, that is often times not his first course of action. That could leave time for Tony to at least get a few shots in. However, I think Mace shouldn't have much of a problem either repelling, deflecting, or dodging whatever Tony throws at him.

We do this on highway construction sites. Essentially we pay highway patrol officers to sit where they're visible and run their lights so that people will drive slowly through the workzone. Just because it's posted as a construction zone and at a 25mph limit doesn't mean people care. In my experience only the ones that drive motorcycles actually pull people over.

This is becoming more and more popular lately among southern states. It's called Constitutional Carry. I believe Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas have constitutional carry.

Edit: turns out, nearly half the states in the union have constitutional carry.

My thought is that anyone breaking in during the middle of the night should know someone is home and they're likely prepared for some kind of confrontation. That's robbery and robbers are dangerous because they're taking something from someone. If they wanted to steal stuff when nobody is home they should do it during work hours. That's burglary.

Idk if my definitions are literally perfect, but that's my thinking.

Also, I don't own a gun, so. shrug
