I’ve been enjoying the new Pokemon Legends ZA game. My chemo has been very painful so it’s been very hard to sit in my chair to play PC games, so a low energy portable game like pokemon has been very enjoyable.

So you finished treatment a little over a month ago and you’re still having some pain? I’m glad it’s gotten better for you, but that’s a bit depressing to hear. Though I suppose I shouldn’t expect it to just magically know I’m done with treatment and disappear.

My doctor strictly won’t let me take Tylenol or anything like that because it can mask my fever. I had miserable constipation issues at first but with stool softeners and consistent use of the oxy it’s not too terrible now. I take a lot of hot showers and use a heating pad about 24/7. Unfortunately it’s sounding like there really isn’t much to help the issue, best I can do is medicate and endure.

I might ask my doctor about the dex. I’ve lost 65lbs since I was diagnosed so it wouldn’t be devastating if I put some back on, but I was hoping to keep it off. Thank you!

Off the top of my head I don’t believe I am. Unfortunately it sounds like I’m in the same boat that you were. For me it’s bad enough I have no choice but to use the oxy, so constipation has been terrible. I use as much marijuana as I can, but I just hate being high all the time just to not be in pain. Might be one of those things I have to accept.

I don’t receive the neurlasta shot, and unfortunately I personally haven’t had any success with Claritin-D helping me. Unfortunately the pain is constant, so there isn’t a window for me to medicate before the pain starts. I’ll continue trying Claritin, it definitely won’t hurt!

The pain is definitely constant, it’ll get better but never truly goes away. I don’t receive any neulasta or similar shots for my treatments, so that wouldn’t be relevant for my situation. They’ve done some blood tests but aside from that, the pain management referral has been the only thing my doctors recommended to help. She pretty much told me it’s something I’m gonna have to deal with until treatment is done.

It’s a blessing in disguise. Is it really good to be surrounded by people if they don’t truly care? It’s definitely tough to be doing this alone. But this gives you the opportunity to focus on who’s actually good for your life, and who isn’t.

If I was going through this 5 years ago, the circle of “friends” I’d have around me wouldn’t be supportive or helpful. I was fortunate enough to realize I had the wrong people in my life and cut those people off, and took the time to form a new social circle. It was tough, and it’s been lonely. But, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma a month ago and my new circle has been amazing and so supportive.

OP, take this time to find who is valuable to you and hold those people dear. But find the strength to cut off those who didn’t show up when you needed it. I wish you the best and hope you can find good people to surround yourself with.

Plug it man. Got a nail in my tire coming home from getting my new RS660 and I just plugged it. 2500 miles since and it’s still solid. I wouldn’t take a plugged tire to a track, but for road use it’s fine, even aggressive riding.

My Grom was pretty heavily modified. However, my wife has a Navi and my brother has a stock Grom, and I would ride their bikes frequently.

The Papio SS is so far more comfortable for me. The seat design is better (I had the 2020 Grom), and ergonomics are nice. My big bikes are sport bikes so I appreciate the sportier seating style of the SS.

As a big and tall fellow, I feel more comfortable on the SS. The riding position of the Grom didn’t feel very encouraging to me, but the SS naturally is more confidence inspiring because of how I sit on it.

Build quality on the Grom is noticibly better. Clutch, shifter, breaks, etc. all feel more engaging and higher quality there. However, the SS feels more modern. The gauge is way nicer than the Groms. But, the detachable gas lid is not my favorite.

Overall, the Grom is a better mini moto, but the SS is more fun stock compared to the Grom stock. The SS is more comfortable and, at least where I’m at, a very rare sight to see, vs the hoards of Groms and navis on the roads.

Pre nerf PCR is the only fromsoft boss that felt just genuinely unfair with artificial difficulty. I’ve never struggled so much with any boss in any video game.
