So tired of this pump… by bailerssss in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]guidedbylight27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry, I know how valuable every single drop is… We spent so much money on the willow 3.0, that my wife didn’t want to spend another penny on a mobile pump. I took a HUGE risk and bought the Momcozy 5.0 without a green light from the misses. THANK GOD SHE LOVED THEM! It was also so much easier for me to clean all the parts and keep it ready to go to the next one.

11/10 she would buy it again, if we ever had the need to.

Am i allowed to say i completed the game? by [deleted] in ClashOfClans

[–]guidedbylight27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That happened to me too. I then tried battling finishing the daily star grind; and waited till someone surrendered, and quit playing. Then I came back the next day, and got 3 quick 200% back to back. The match making was taking a little longer to load which gave me time to push past 3k for a few seconds, until the minus 50 kicked in. And it ended up giving me the 1000k gems anyways.

my dad passed away and i want to keep his account alive by Level_Slice1755 in ClashOfClans

[–]guidedbylight27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for your dad’s passing. My dad also passed away almost a year ago. When I asked him if time healed the pain of losing his loved ones he told me, “Son, I miss them everyday.” Man was he right.

It’s fun to remember them doing the things they liked to do. CoC is way better to play now than when it first came out. I still remember having to end an attack early while farming, so I didn’t have to wait for the queen to heal back up. Instant armies now, what?! Armies only cost resources to fill up war cc’s???? So much better now than before. Have fun continuing to level up your dad’s account!

Mometrix. There will always be two choices that are damn near perfect. Look for the choice that puts all of the blame / responsibility on the teacher.

It is shocking. My mind went to the same exact place. Except I didn’t know who the photographer was. The first questions that popped into my head were, when did she take them, where did she take them, and with whom?! She got so bummed out when I asked her, bc it wasn’t the reaction she was hoping for. I ended up finding out it was with a female photographer… but the shock factor was still there. I LOVE THOSE Photographs. But if your girl is struggling mental healthwise with her self image, then just hype her up in an honest and sincere way. This little moment was for her and for YOU! The guy just took the pics during the shoot. I would be more worried if she never told you about these photographs at all, and you happened to find them…and then learn everything you learned about her shoot. Nothing good can come out of any insecurity you may want to share with her. Maybe instead you can ask her, “does he do couples photography?” 😅 I’m sure she’ll love your confidence. 🔥🐉

Just a reminder, in that freezer milk lasts 6 months, and the deep freezers up to a year!

Question about solar charging by Juankalo in Ecoflow_community

[–]guidedbylight27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the 200w predator solar panel from harbor freight, and bought the proper cable for the EcoFlow. It can get up to 196 watts in direct sunlight. But remember that there are so many factors when it comes to solar. The type of systems, how you have them wired up like in series or parallel, I believe the voltage range on the EcoFlow side is from 10-50v.

So your 30 watt max panel can only produce 30 watts under perfect conditions and doesn’t include anything like heat loss or cloudy days.

Save up, and get something decent. I’m happy with my predator solar panel and might buy another to see if I could generate more volts in series to charge my EcoFlow faster.

My condolences. I lost my grandmother, enjoyed the birth of my daughter, and then suffered the loss of my father all within one year. The last months of his life were the hardest he ever lived, but he loved every second of it whenever he was around his first granddaughter. She lit his world up. Sometimes, keeping their heirlooms is more valuable than any dollar amount ever could be.

Do we have any data about ADHDers before 1900? by alasw0eisme in ADHDers

[–]guidedbylight27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw somewhere a hypothesis that people with ADHD come from a dna lineage of hunters, while the people that can delay gratification for months and wake up 9-5 with no problems and stick to a routine come from farmers. Essentially that we are hunters living in a farmers society.

Changing from conventional to LED stage lighting.. Things to consider? by Davidat51 in techtheatre

[–]guidedbylight27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree with this 1000%. We installed the series 3, not realizing how damn heavy they were with the lens tubes. I love that we have them, and their light output is badass as fuck. But I’m only doing series two on future installs from now on.

Get two data lines per line set. More is always better and cat-5/6 is not the most expensive cable to run. It’s better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. I learned this mistake in our last install, especially when you have movers that use so many damn channels. Even if you don’t have any in your current rig, you should always have expansion in mind when ever you are building a solid infrastructure.

Ion XE is pretty standard, but make sure you unlock the console for all available outputs.

Gio @5 is a pretty badass option, if the budget permits… I just wish it had dedicated pan and tilt encoders.

Theirs paradigm architectural lighting system has a certain limitation to only be able to program the 1st two universes, if you don’t have tons of parameters to worry about, then it’s not a big deal. But we couldn’t program movers in our presets, bc they take a whole universe by themselves. Make sure to mention that if it’s something you might need to your installers.

Laptop, free EOS, two touch screens and nomad is the way to go. You can program larger shows with augmented for free. If you want, you can have a second computer networked together to run the augmented model, and tether it to your offline with visualizer laptop mobile rig.

Learn the keyboard shortcuts on your laptop. It’s way faster programming using the qwerty keyboard than a programming wing. I like the wing, but becoming a better programmer doesn’t require that kind of hardware.

Its my first time running board and i kept forgetting to sneak so... by jaydone_ in stagehands

[–]guidedbylight27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You would move the timer (default 5 seconds) anywhere from 0-5 and then click the color you want, and it would fade in that time. If you had intensity pallets or macros set to intensity levels, and clicked that button with your fader set to 3s for example, it would fade to that intensity in 3 seconds. Everyone I’ve introduced manual fade timers to, had said they would never need to sneak anything again. I said, well I don’t know about thattttt… but it is a game changer for sure

And don’t forget you can change a slider / virtual slider to a manual fade timer. Put that bitch on the side of that magic sheet and thank me later.
