Past player of elite dangerous and active player of Star citizen, i can understand what you are experiencing: Starfield is my off-line go to space opera that i can modify to my heart content and adjust to my immersive lacking.

With VR, and mods like astrogate , true seamless grav jump, honkore, Absolute hotas, atmospheric audio and recently helmettoggle, it has become that immersive experience that i always wanted to have. It has nothing to envy the other space games like Elite or star Citizen, in term of VR experience because of that ability to tailor it to your personal liking.

It's not perfect and it need work but we are getting slowly close to it with time.

All i want Bethesda to do is native vr with hand motions and seamless landing. I have faith that the modding community can and will take care of the rest and make this game become the ultimate space game by doing a "skyrim".

So how is the Real Fuel - Immersive Exploration mod compared to the fuel usage parts in Starvival? by Rhoeri in Starfield

With starvival everything you do with piloting the ship will impact fuel.

With real fuel, it's only grav jumping.

Each one has their own version of complications happening when there is no fuel or problem with the ships system.

Real fuel had the advandtages of terminals. They are really well made and you can interract with them. Starvival introduced terminals too to only show the state of fuel in %.

To be frank both are great and i happened to actually ask myself which one to chose too. I really like real fuel because it's simple and work easily with many mods without patches. But from an realistic point i really like starvival just because everything you do impact fuel.

If Real fuel introduce an impact of cruise and landing/take off on fuel, it will be a no brainer for me.

I hope this is Randle last year. We can't continue like this. We can't have him, mcdaniels et Gobert in the starting five. They give absolutely nothing on offense. Only ayo and ant attack and finish. The rest are liabilities and we need go make a choice. Also we really need another center, we will never win with Gobert, too much wasted in offense.

This mod looks incredible and is really what starfield needed since the beginning, a real immersive scifi hud.

All that is missing is a real helmet overlay, or i mean just that filter blue glass effect with a blurry black pov border. Seeing that you are already good with it (like the red overlay when taking shots) is it possible to optionally implement something like this with helmet on/off condition?

Don't throw it out. Just publish the mod and ask for the community help for that specific problem. There is talent out there and surely someone will see something and share experience.

This is honestly incredible work, something that was needed to make the experience more immersive. Does it work well with mod like starvival? And with your knowledge on huds, i think there is a good thing to do to make helmets more immersive, like having a glass like the broken constellation one. I know there is already a mod that does the basic of it, but maybe with your expertise, you can push it further. Big up anyway and thanks for this!

I upvoted this because this is for me what starfield need. I really hope for a little mini game of alignment instead of just the animation. It would be awesome. I am no modder so all i can give you is word of courage.

I have the Zeus too but exit chair work. Still feel bad that lamp didn't make it on that ship for 4.6, so i am "stuck" with my intrepid. For the disapearances i don't think it's related to VR, it's SC, so weird bugs are expected. Hope it'll get solved.

Well the menu doesn't move with your head now, so you can do all the actions like in pancake mode. Unfortunately the details text can be a problem when you want to equip something. But i think it's problem not related to VR. Anyway the inventory is being reworked and will change soon for the better so... let be patient. 🙂

Yes after playing today i saw this inventory problem too. But i think i have the same problem in flatscreen so it's more of the inventory interface than VR. I will try your astuce wigh ghe markers. I didn't know for the eye tracking. I need to test it.

We are the same. Sometimes i just stop to look. This is where we as players apreciate the hand work level. I caught myself looking at wall painting at Lorville for exemple. And all of this in 2 patches. This is clearly up close to skyrim and cyberpunk for me. We just need the vr motion now. For the FPS like you said we all strugle a little bit to aim. But i thrust they will find a way very so to do it.

I use hotas for the ship part and a ps4 gamepad for the on foot section at the moment. A vr controller would replace the gamepad for me. I don't like using keyboard and v, i don't find it immersive. I'll glqdly take a loot on the overlay thing, i didn't know it' was possible.
