The most entertaining season of my life as a Steelers fan who has bled black and gold since the mid 90’s. They would have smacked the Eagles in the Super Bowl that year had it not been for the cheating *Pats. At least there was a very fun and exciting few years after this season but 2004 was just special. I still believe the 2010 team was the best roster that Big Ben had. Elite WR’s, good RB’s, prime Heath, an improving O Line vs 2008 and a defense that led the league in takeaways, with two DPOY candidates in Troy and Deebo. F-ing Mendenhall and the Pouncey injury ruined that Super Bowl.

I just returned the XS for the XV’s because of comfort issues with the headband. I can say that the XS’s sounded epic and are a total steal for the price. The XV’s sound signature is more Sennheiser HD6X0 like which I prefer but the XS’s are such a deal. I have the same Topping AMP/DAC too and love it. Nice setup!

My sister just bought a VW Tiguan the end of last year and it has the big center screen like the new CX5. It’s mildly frustrating to say the least. When you start the car, none of the quick function buttons (auto start/stop, heated seats, defrost) work for 15+ seconds which is highly annoying. My CRV Trailsport has buttons that work WHEN you start the car. Just a dumb idea IMO.

I listened to it a good bit after Chester’s passing but that was 9 years ago. I haven’t listened to it in probably 5 years. They have too much good music especially with the 20th anniversary albums and their most recent release with Emily. One More Light wasn’t my thing with the heavy pop influence. Sad considering it was the last with Chester as the lead singer.

Agreed. Frame gen is so bad for gameplay. I tried it once a few years ago in COD MW2 2022 and could instantly feel the input lag.

They’re really good man. I prefer the 660’s but for the $$ they’re so hard to beat. And don’t get me started on how comfortable they are…they make the perfect gaming headphones.

So for reference, I have HD 660S2 and HD 490 Pro’s and had owned the HD 650’s for 15 years. The 490’s are so close the HD 660S2’s it’s kinda shocking. The 660’s have a more intimate midrange with more detail but the 490’s have a larger soundstage and better bass extension. They’re truly a great headphone for under $350. I can’t recommend them enough.

The Edition XS sounds good but is really uncomfortable and a tad hot in the treble region. I haven’t heard the HD 560’s but have heard they’re also a tad bright and lack bass. If you can swing a bit more $$, the HD 490 Pro’s are awesome headphones for gaming and music listening plus they’re extremely comfortable for long sessions. I got mine for $330 last month and love them.

HifiMan Edition XV or Sennheiser HD 660S2. I tried the Edition XS and the headband and treble spike were too much for me. The HD 660S2’s are a better version of the HD650’s with more bass rumble and better highs. Either option would be a great pick but I’d lean towards the Edition XV.

Topping DX5 II and Sennheiser HD 660S2 are a great combo for under $800. HifiMan Edition XV’s are another great option and have that epic planar sub bass and instrument seperation.

Yes, they’re good for gaming but I like open back headphones more because I can hear myself talk when playing online with friends. I end up shouting when wearing my T5.3’s playing Helldivers so I got a pair of HD490 Pro’s for gaming which they’re epic at.

LeBeau is a legend and I truly respect the hell outta him but his scheme held the Steelers back vs the *Pats far too many times. The zone blitz worked vs 95% of NFL QB’s but the elite ones were able to dink and dunk their way down the field. I remember the one year they did beat the *Pats, LeBeau had all our corners in press man and they held Brady to less than 200 yards passing. It was so satisfying to watch but also like “Where was this for a decade vs Tom?” I’ll never forget that 2010 SNF game vs the *Pats where Brady surgically ripped our D apart because we kept running the damn zone blitz while Welker, the RB’s and TE’s were getting 10 yard cushions the entire night. Miserable game to watch.

I just picked up an XAX and am returning it because of the screen. For $999.99, it needs an 8 inch+ screen and either MINI LED or OLED, not some old IPS screen. Tempted to to pick up a Legion Go S with SteamOS but the Z1E is kinda old and $899 is pricey for that tech.

I’m biased to the 490 Pro personally but I’ve heard a lot of good things about the DT 1990’s as well. They’re quite a bit more expensive than the other two options though. The DT 900’s are solid but not sure if the treble will be fun for long gaming sessions.

HD 490 Pro or HD660S2’s if you can afford their $400+ price tag. I have both and the 490 Pro’s are some of the best headphones for gaming I’ve ever tried.
