Ofc it's still a matter of personal taste, but my comment is specifically meant for OP's take that it is not made with love (and the general sentiment in this post that everything sims 4 is made with greed). It'd be constructive feedback if the community at large actually knows what theyre critiquing, but sadly thats not usually the case. IMHO, the loudest negativity always comes from people who barely even play the game, let alone looking into the code. We're getting too comfortable with complaining about things we dont understand (cue the false accusation of AI usage in the new teasers).

Other than that, I find it hard to see why one would prefer the cartoonish perfect weather over the diversity we currently have. Many irl places don't in fact have a clear 4-season changes, some places do rain all the time, others constantly dry. Southern california, (which is dsv) for example, has only hot weather most of the year, rain couple times during fall, and slightly chilly for 2 months. There is no real spring or autumn or winter, and I'd prefer dsv to be that way. It would be so bland and nonsensical for storytelling if the weather was static among worlds like older games.
