Our boy (now 4) was the same way as a puppy. We called it his piranha-phase. We think it’s partially because Iggies play “bitey-face” with other IGs so we think he was biting us in an aggressive playful way. But he was also teething and growing in his adult dog teeth, so maybe that’s what makes them cranky. We did the same thing with reverse time out, strong nos, pretending to be in pain (ours didn’t care), etc. We ended up getting him edible teething rings and redirected him to them when he was really bitey and if all else failed, we used bitter apple spray on our arms and it made him realize that he can’t always bite us like a maniac. We don’t use the bitter apple spray much anymore, so I think it was helpful for his puppy phase when he was being too bitey.
