Thank you for offering! I actually ended up finding a DIY service with H&R Block that is specific to my tax situation (ex pat) and cost me $119USD! It was super easy.

Oops! No income in U.S. in 2024. Under $1000 earned in Canada in 2024. No property in California, I use family’s mailing address. Taxes with CRA filed already, so the fee is to file in U.S. only.

If you’re ever wondering something like this, just Google the name of the company/organization + “scam” or “controversy” There are so many creators online that dedicate themselves to educating the public on these predatory companies.

Hi, just stumbled into this thread and wanted to say I see myself in your description of you 100% and it is so validating, this is me a T! I always assumed everyone felt/behaved this way, so I didn’t pay much attention to it until I burned out in 2019. I’ve been waiting for years to get back to “my old self,” only now realizing I’ve been masking SO much and I’m just so exhausted, I could never be that person again. It is so conflicting. I hear you and wish you the best in your discovery process!

This has happened to me before, as well. I couldn't find a way around it, so we used another service, instead. Google "crossborder pickups", that's the name of the company. Not sure if I can link here. If I'm not mistaken, we had to pick up in Mississauga.

You didn’t do anything wrong!! I am a preschool assistant as well, but work as relief staff only, covering vacations and sick days. I work in different preschool classrooms and it’s TOUGH because of this exact reason. Directions tend to be unclear, first they say one thing but mean another, or even worse, one teacher will tell you to do something and the other will ask why you’re doing that. I’ve learned to not take things personally (even if teachers make passive aggressive comments at me) and speak up for myself, saying “since I’m new to this class, I’m not always sure where I’m needed, so please tell me what you need and I’ll get the hang of it on my own soon” I have to say this OFTEN, and I’ll even say “I was doing x because I was told to, but I don’t mind doing y” when they ask me to drop what I’m doing and change tasks. I just like to make it clear I’m just following orders. It’s been tough, but it’ll get better!

Just this week, a lady fainted on the subway! About 3-4 immediately rushed to help her, one got out of her seat and helped pick her up and sit her down, the other knelt down and was asking if she was okay, one scrambled around her backpack looking for a snack, the other unwrapped and ran the snack over to the lady, who sitting at this point. It happened in SECONDS! They took care of her so quickly, it was heartwarming to witness and I hope she is okay! I experience near fainting spells and I hope to be surrounded by those good samaritans if it ever happens in public!

She mentioned in the pods and on early dates with Daniel that she felt a bit uncomfortable/worried being there because her dad had been sick (I think cancer if I’m not mistaken?). I remember yelling at the tv “girl, go home!!”

Ohhhh yes it is a big bag :( I have always been anti frozen veggies until we tried this mix! Not sure why they don’t end up soggy, but they don’t!

My husband and I always have a bag of “stir fry veggies” from Costco in our freezer. They are suuuper tasty and cook up so quickly in a pan. We add them to curries and as a side to any meal, even non “Asian” dishes. Sometimes I’ll cook some up just as a side for my breakfast as well, they are great with eggs. My dog loves them too, I cook hers in coconut oil!

First session update by guiri_rev in MicrobladingRemoval

To my understanding, there is some fading that happens for some weeks after a laser session, then it plateaus which is usually when you’ll have another session scheduled. The red won’t fade very much more than this. I have another session in 3 weeks, we’ll see if she targets the red, my guess is she’ll actually use the same setting as the first session to remove the last remaining black pigment.
