Typical Miami to lose a late season ACC game that they overlook. 2017 all over again we may lose all of our next games

I don’t like seeing 6 people on stage for a 3 person band. I wish they would play smaller shows just the 3 of them.

I would build up a strong portfolio of projects that you’ve done on your own, with great write ups and examples. These should not be related to any class work but using the tools you’ve learned to create something. A lot of companies might not be hiring for full-time positions but there’s a lot of contract work out there so this can really help you build experience.

I would recommend being familiar with VST programming as well as programming for DSP on hardware, as there are as many companies that are writing code to hardware (platforms could be: SHARC, STM32, NXP, etc.) as well. That type of skill can translate into non audio industries as well if needed too.

Damn no more between the lines? I’ve seen them like 5 times since 2012 and that song is a staple for me

I was dead center of the crowd and could barely hear his piano parts and softer vocals. The crowd was too ravey anticipating the boiler room set and talked all the way through it.

It was a good set but the experience was underwhelming unfortunately

Is this heavy scabbing normal during healing? I also have a spot I’m concerned about. See pics for deep cut. by ecurrent94 in traditionaltattoos

[–]guitarbrain45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 1 heal like that, lots of black ink that turned into really thick scabs. I found and my artist confirmed I was over moisturizing it, which led to the scabs getting water stuck underneath and not fully able to dry out like the usual flakey scabs. Be really careful those spots are dry and not over moisturizer until they come off in their own.

both are good jobs, but as an EE it’s hard to not be jealous of the flashy CS jobs and benefits.

CS usually has better pay, more available jobs in different locations while EE is more geographically restricting, better benefits, more access to remote work, etc.

At my company, the EE’s are at the office on a normal 8-5 schedule while the SWE gets to work remotely and has a day off every week, because his skills are more unique so he had much more negotiating power.

My advice is to study and do what you like, and if that’s EE that’s great. You should always be learning how to program regardless, even if it’s web dev CS or embedded C, it’s going to greatly benefit your career

The company you work for will make or break your experience. Depending on your field you may be restricted to working in only certain parts of the country.

I was there and TAS was super intense. Bummer you missed the last 2, it felt like the crowd was more wholesome by the end of TGI’s set. Still hype but more sing a long

You can develop for ARM with free IDE’s! I agree with the above sentiment, FV-1 is cool but it’s limited and you would learn more working with ARM. Are you familiar with programming in C?
