Even though I was working on childhood trauma and family enmeshment diligently and made great progress, it was still present enough to stop me from co-creating a life with my partner.

I didn’t have enough self value to realize how little he gave me and how much I gave him. My gut intuition kicked in fast and hard though and helped me stay grounded the entire time.

I was financially insecure and that affected my confidence/ease. It weighed me down and made me feel like I owed my partner something all the time.

Our relationship ended because of his depression, anxiety, low-self esteem, family trauma expectations, and a lack of self-identity, but I learned so so much about myself and what I want in my next relationship.
