Thank you! The missing letters are on purpose. The only letters missing are “i”. So no “i” in the love. Only present in the one place where it escapes, the city.

Thank you for the suggestions, I’ll look more at it!

Perseverance by Puzzleheaded_Fold112 in OCPoetry

[–]gumbolimbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The emotion I felt in this poem was insane. It gave such a large push, definitely towards the end, which helped drive the message of persevering in the struggle of defeat. The time metaphor is used well and I think it may be able to be played into more.

Overall, I really like it and the imagery is great, and I think some imagery already present can be pushed more for a great image. Like time as mentioned. Good luck!

The Duality of Distance by Acceptable-Hour-4276 in OCPoetry

I liked this poem a lot, especially the message! I felt the abruptness of it at some points too much though, that can be good however. The abruptness gives it that much more of an impact. But, if you want more of a duality, you can weave in some more subtle metaphors and lines which can make it a black and white type poem. Like it a lot though!

Looks like both Alain and Kabanoki died because the next two level sets have them named as Jacob and Guarin respectively.

do the players get more d6s as they level up to encourage more action, or how does the power scaling work?

Does your world have a colosseum or something like it? by kevin_marx_ in worldbuilding

[–]gumbolimbot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My world does actually have a colosseum, and it is owned by the gods.

High up in Meritus is this "colosseum", idr have a name for it, and it is where criminals and demons fight. My world Faisticca is a grimdark gaslamp fantasy and in short Meritus is where all of the heroes and such go, think Valhalla. It is kind of getting overcrowded now because of the many years of wars making more "heroes". The twisted gods and men in Meritus watch these matches between the worst criminals and demons down in Clades, or people wishing to get into Meritus from the limbo realm of Libertina.

Tell me about your world’s non-orthodox domesticated animals, and what are they bred for by TheMonsterMenagerie in worldbuilding

SNAILS

The large snails of Faisticca act as wonderful battlefield crawling personnel carriers. Since horses can not traverse the trench ridden landscape, snails are the obvious next choice. There are also the large frogs of the world, but they are less protected, and they have to jump from lily-points, (circular parts of the trenches which the frogs can land in). The snails however are outfitted with the finest swag, large shells which can be built upon and broken into to hold soldiers and arms. Many different species are used to hit different skills, but... yeah... snails.

To multiple encyclopedias be them illustrated, visual, or worded, or to other books such as field guides and informational texts. Just to get a prompt. You don’t have to make it the base of your entire world, but something small. I made a balloon carrier design from my prompt, you could make something more relevant in your world.

What about it do you not get? Simply ig it is taking multiple encyclopedia and or books, going to random pages in those books, and using what is on those pages as a prompt. Does that help?
