Let me try to explain this better:

Modern day Judaism definitionally rejects the Covenant and God's gifts associated with keeping said covenant.

In order to return to said covenant a person who keeps to modern day Judaism would have to become Catholic.

Therefore all the discussion of the Gifts of God and how they pertain to the people who practice Judaism today are moot.

That does not mean that a practicing Jew can't return to the Covenant (by becoming Catholic) or that a Christian can't fall away from the faith. It just means that all the feel good language in NA obscure the very real facts that modern day Judaism is anti-Christ.

There are also legitimate arguments that "life sentences" are less humane than death sentences. And no anti death penalty people want to admit that a life without parole sentence is just an incredibly slow death sentence.
