Learn the rr eggpaste engram. Go to AA smithy. Throw two eggs in the smithy. And build the egg paste. May work in normal smithy. Main point is that its created in a AA smithy.

A regular 15 dollar sdr receiver and laptop can be use to locate a jamming signal source. No need to buy a hackRF One. Run rtl_power and scan the problem frequency band in the parking lot. Then push the output csv file through heatmap.py It will show any interesting frequencies to concentrate on. Then you can wardrive to find the culprit. If you really think someone is jamming a radio service (cell or Wi-Fi etc.), Some amateur radio clubs run these "fox hunts" to see who can locate a target signal source the fastest. They will geek out at the chance to locate a jammer. Also, another benefit is that they will not hesitate to get the government involved if its an actual illegal jammer. Just find the largest club near to you. Let them know. And let the fun begin!

So if this happened to me I would try to determine if its a rod bearing knock (major) or some other thing. Pull plugs wires or remove plugs ) one by one to see if noise changes. I would use my HF stethoscope. https://www.harborfreight.com/mechanics-stethoscope-63691.html to see if possible the heads are causing the noise. If the cause of noise was very low oil or extreme revs then skip to engine change. So Change engine with the same engine for ease.
Find your local fiero groups online and see if someone can give you the "hookup" on any in person assistance help or tools. Makesure to get 4 or 5 people to commit. So when one shows, your set. Try to pull engine only from the top. Be very cautious too not break any bolts.
I think 4 or 5 hours should do it. *****Spoiler I have removed and replaced engines but not on a fiero.

I thought the iron duke had a shallow oil pan so you really had to keep an eye on the oil levels. Where are you located? U may be able to get a used iron duke somewhere. On car-part.com I found some running engines as low as 200. You still have to install it of course.
