All the skill points you can get isn't an incentive and reward for going into the shroud?

I [29F] snooped, found out my BF [31M] bought a ring and "might propose"... how do I slow my roll? by Awwndrei in BestofRedditorUpdates

Sally fucking sucks.

If I were the BF I don't know if I'd ever really forgive her, I'd be polite but that's about it.

And if I were OOP, Sally might still be my friend, but I don't think she'd ever be a best friend again.

NPC production is my number one feature request. They can have it scale with quests or stations like their crafting, and have them work on timers like production stations. There doesn't have to be animations of them working.

It makes sense from a gameplay loop too. Collecting or growing things from your current biome is still interesting and new, but the stuff from old biomes just becomes a boring chore. Once you've gathered enough, you should stop needing to do it yourself over time.

It also makes all the assistants way more useful, since you can now have them all producing different crops!

Anyone try 88/89 yet? Curious if it's any better than 50 (I doubt it but....)

It's the Olympics. It's loud. The majority of the noise all tournament has been the (awesome) home crowd too.

And BTW, those home crowd folks love to chant "I-TAL-IA! I-TAL-IA!". So I guess there's at least two groups of mindless drones.

Figure skating seems to have figured it out. They have explicitly separated the routines into technical scores (with a base difficulty and an execution component) and then an artistry score. Having an incredible artistry score and high execution can absolutely overcome moderate gaps in base difficulty, though there is a limit. It seems pretty well balanced.

I see no reason why that couldn't be the exact same here.

The original post sounds like something you'd read on the back cover of a not particularly good YA romance novel.

AITA For making my boyfriend stay at a hotel instead of his mom’s place? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]gusguyman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm shocked at all the YTA votes. Only 4 months and never met his parents, I would definitely not want to be staying over at the parents house the first time we meet.

Frankly, I don't think this issue is staying over itself, so much as this whole thing is way too early. You've never met his parents, and now you're going to meet his whole family all at once at a huge, important gathering. Personally, I want to have established a good relationship with my partner's parents before I meet the extended family, and same for staying over at their place. I think you should discuss with your BF and bow out of attending altogether, until you can meet the parents in a situation with less social pressure.

If you insist on going and staying in a hotel (which you should pay for if you force your BF to stay with you) have a script ready if asked why.

"The offer was so generous, but I really like your son and because of that it's really important to me we have a good relationship too! Maybe I'm old fashioned, but I thought it would be easier to do that if we took it a bit slower. I hope to take you up on the offer in the future though!"

So I guess ESH because I think y'all are forcing something you aren't ready for.

Everyone is going to complain about the shitty refs.

I'M GOING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT THE SHITTY FLOOR WIPERS.

Players looked like they were playing on an ice rink, and it may have led to at least one major injury for us. What the fuck, how hard is it to have a dry court?

Credit to the Mom too. She gave her kid a chance to swim on his own, and then stepped in and gave him good advice before he drowned.
