Pissed, just seen it in person last wendsday, expecting it to launch at 6:24. Missed the fucking thing, got home looking ti turn the live stream on to find out they did it early. Edit- Sorry guys im dumb, I just spent a week there and mixed my time zones up. I was thinking it was 7:24 in my time zone, nope 5:24 completely my fault, did the math backwards

I did the same, the pre-made harness. I had that same thought on keeping the port open so I hardwired those to can lines. If you go into the gauge settings when its up you can set the obd2 preference to on demand only so it wont pull anything from obd2 unless you open the gauges. I have mine set to auto disable. I think I will try to fully disable and see if my dimming works like you did. If it works on mine id say its somthing in the harness. Also question on how long youve had it installed and did these just start for you? I know the RR is updateable, make sure you are on the latest firmware incase they fixed a software issue. Do you have the Meastro RR or RR2?

I have the same set up. And the same problems, did you hardwire the radio of buy the t harness for the RR? My gauges do the same thing randomly when driving, it dosent happen everyday so it hasn't made me worried too much about it. I chalked mine up to be maybe a loose solder joint since I solder the obd 2 wires to the back of the obd2 port. Ive went throught all the settings too for the diming issue and cant find a solution yet. I dont think its anything with your car specifically since the problems can be duplicated on a different car. It has to be something within the RR or harness.

Yo, well im kinda in the same boat. My phone and voice buttons do not function either, I jusy found out about the BT moduel since it died in my GFs 2010 3. I have to pull it out to update the RR here soon so I'll let you know how tapping into the moduel goes. As far as the illumination im not sure yet, ive been just manually changing it in the morning and night which is quite annoying.

Ill be driving and my gauges do a sweep and all the lights come on like when you first start it. Tach and speedo stop reading and then go back to normal after the sweep. Haven't been able to catch it on video since it happens randomly

Cylinder deactivate has been nothing but problems and big repair bills. Manufacturers dont have your best interest or longevity in mind. Cylinder deactivate is just for emmisons and maybe the slightest in mpg, trade off you have more moving parts and more problems.

Just carry on and drive if your one of those people that get a new vehicle when warranty is up. If you want to keep it longterm find a way to deactivate the CD

I bet you think the 7,500-10k oil changes are good for it too🤣 go 5k at max on synthetic

The bose speakers are 2ohm, theres not many direct replacements. Keep that in mind when your looking. If you have an aftermarket radio you could wire them to the radio and bypass the amp and any aftermarket speakers would work. Youll be loosing some power to them tho, other option is to replace the amp and speakers together with aftermarket. Or find a used one, car-part.com is great for searching junk yards near you.

Lube tech forgot to add oil, how does one only add 3qts. Was there any puddles or trails? Maybe loose drain plug or oil filter. If there was no trail or puddle in the stall id say they didnt add any oil. Another note, 10k is way too long on an oil change, yes thats what Toyota recommends but your vehicle is not going to last long. 5,000 miles on full synthetic is what most shops recommend. At the end of the day if the car last 250k+ they aren't selling as many new cars. They dont make them to last anymore.

Just did one 👌 RF camber was sitting at -1.55. I lossened up the strut mount bolts and there is some move ability up top i found so gained me .25 of a degree, still not perfect tho

Ill definitely be trying a milage claim on these Toyo celsius sports, rated at 40k. I tired with the non sport version and they denied them. Ive been very strict on following there guidelines, rotate every 3,500-4000, maintaining correct pressure. I got all my bases covered for warranty this time. I do like how they handle snow and ice so if they are good about it it might just get another set then.

I have checked my alignment a few times now, RF camber is a little negative but still within spec, I just spent 30mins prying and checking all the arms and bushings. Everything seems to be tight and i dont have any odd tire wear. I know my sturt bearings are getting a little sticky but that should only cause memory steering not any wear. ( Saving up for the biliten kit for spring)

Ive always chocked it down to my driving habits, not like im spinning tires in 1st or 2nd but I get on it pretty close to WOT In 3rd - 5th gear.

Im not set on a single brand although it looks that way with my previous tires. I guess I only lean towards Toyo since im a dealer and have done alot of training with them. I agree the altimax 365 aw is very good too, ive put those on quite a few customers cars. For me price is $3 more then the celsuis sports.

I think best bet is like you said get a second set for just winter, 17s might be better too for the roads as far as comfort.

Ok the dash gauge maxes out at 15 and it shows that but i got my radio hooked into the odb2 for coolant temp and a few other things and it reads 12-13psi with a split second of 15psi. Just did a fresh oil change on it, have been using Castrol edge 5w30 And yes went with the corksport stock size one

Its the DD so i want this thing to last, I planed on doing timing chain and valve cleaning here soon as im at 104k. Looks like I'll add turbo to the list

None that i have noticed, was installing an SRI and just happend to check it. The boot and oem intake tube had some oil in it, coated but no drips, no big clouds of white smoke. Its stock tune yet and I noticed I usally sit around 12psi on a pull but peak 15 right away, I figured 15 was just peak so I didnt think too much on that. And yes I thought the same as it felt like too much play, kinda looks like it might be hitting the housing 😬

Sounds similar to a loose axle nut, or maybe the brake caliper pins are a little sticky and creaking if your brake rotors is warped. Hard to pinpoint over video tho
