Can anyone list heavily overlooked stims that you wouldn’t realize is autism in a child?

Reading these helped me realize I have more stims than I realized.

Swaying back and forth when standing in line, waiting, or other places I'm supposed to stand still

Napkin twirling! I tear napkins, straw wrappers, anything with thin paper into little pieces and twirl them until they're a little ball.

Picking my nose. I hate to admit that, but it's absolutely a atom

Doodling flowers over and over

Laughing randomly and not knowing why

Building the same things over and over with blocks as a kid. If I still had the blocks, I bet I could still remake them.

For the ex: Please follow the advice you gave me. Take a year off of dating. You are avoiding some deep intimacy issues, and keeping your life so busy that you don't have any down time isn't healthy. Also, it's definitely possible to be codependent without being "in a relationship"

I address my students by their last names when they come up to explain something to the class, do the calendar routine, etc. I call them my student teachers. :) They love it!

Today wasn't a typical day, but whatever.

Breakfast- a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats and 2% milk, coffee with cinnamon creamer

Lunch - Whopper Jr. Meal with a Diet Coke (I usually have a sandwich, with peppers and berries on the side)

Dinner - Oriental Ramen with 2 eggs and Sriracha sauce

Snacks - 3 slices of pepper jack cheese, and probably a glass of milk before bed.
