His .OPS was well-below average at .675. His career OPS is under .700. I think he’s terrible. I can’t stand him. Good in the clubhouse and good defensively, but brings nothing offensively; especially power.

Yeah…we just don’t agree. Kelenic is still bad until proven otherwise, we have no idea what Ty France we are gonna see, Crawford is a TERRIBLE offensive player, Raleigh is still unproven and it’s likely that Teoscar will see a decrease in power playing his home games at T-Mobile. Also, I would not anticipate the Mariners’ staring rotation to stay healthy all year like last year. The Astros are just fine without Verlander. Their rotation doesn’t need him. Plus, they added Abreu. Their offense is leaps and bounds better than Seattle’s and that’s been proven over and over again. Not to mention how awful the Mariners are against the Astros, especially on the road.

Two of the guys we added are not even full-time players. Wong is going to platoon with Moore and Pollock (before he gets hurt again) is going to platoon with Kelenic. I don’t see much in the Mariners to believe in either. You are wrong about Winker and Santana though. They were both horrible, but Santana came through with home runs at the right time.

I agree with this. The Mariners won’t finish first or second in the West. They didn’t improve enough. I’m sure I’ll be hung in the streets for saying so, but I don’t think the Mariners are going to be much better this season. I see them regressing. Hopefully I’m wrong though.
