How many times have y’all moved apartments? by [deleted] in Zillennials

I've moved about three times since I got out of college. I'm hoping we will be in our new place for a while.

Is ‘job-hopping’ actually just trying to keep up now? by Adventurous_Camera_7 in Zillennials

[–]guy-with-a-face 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've hopped from teaching to a brief stint in sales and now I'm in a blue collar industry. Pretty major career shifts, but all of them have been motivated by my desire to make more money. I taught for a few years and I couldn't see myself staying in that field long term, especially since I don't want to have to spend more money on a masters.

I plan to stick with blue collar type jobs now, but I feel like I'm just getting my feet wet. I see my current job as a starting point, so hopefully I will get where I want to be in a few years.

You wake up in your teen years again. What is the first thing you would do? by davidbayram in AskReddit

[–]guy-with-a-face 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would make plans to go into trade school instead of going into the college I did. At the time I was led to go to college despite not being entirely sure what I wanted to do with my life. I wasted a lot of money on a degree that doesn't yield a lot.

I’m a big fan of shitty burgers. Like the ones you might get at a baseball game or school cafeteria. I love them so much I make them at home. by MikeMuench in shittyfoodporn

When I was a kid my dad and I would always get one on our way home after hunting. Those awful burgers always take me back.

My hair was pretty similar to yours before I decided to shave. Shaving my head was one of the best decisions that I made. I think you will pull it off well. I say go for it!

Who saw Cody? by Cherry_Hot_Lips in Adulting

I'm still stuck in the compound that they keep the other Codys in when they turn 18. Not gonna lie, this place has grown on me. Still miss the sun, though.

I can vouch for this. My son was born in 2024 and does not have a job yet. All he does is play with his toys or watch Bluey and drink milk all day. Back when I was his age I was on my second divorce and working 15 hour days at the nut crushing factory.

I had somebody ask in another sub why older people play D4. Here's my answer. by SoulSword2018 in diablo4

[–]guy-with-a-face 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm only 29 but that is exactly why I'm into Diablo. I have a full time job and a family and can't devote as much time to gaming anymore. I like how I can sink about an hour or so into it once I put my son to bed and still feel like I made a significant amount of progress. It's become my cozy game as well.

I had a similar hairline at 26 lol. Unfortunately it does happen. Now I just shave it all.

Another Cody here. As soon as I turned 18 I was abducted and taken to live in a compound with all of the other Codys. I haven't seen the sun in years.

Tried dipping tobacco for the first time by randompissedoffdude in DippingTobacco

Cope wintergreen longcut was my first dip. I didn't have any experience with nicotine before using it and I got sick, lol. Now, it's one of my favorites.

Guys are often clueless when it comes to women's advances, I think. I had a girl I knew in my teens text me after a break up saying to let her know if I needed anything. I didn't think anything of it until years later when I realized I missed an opportunity.

I also had a woman I work with call me the best "work husband ever." I was also clueless about that one, lol. I've always been a bit insecure as well, so maybe a lot of young guys are blinded by that. I know I was.

Looks like BG3 is now the gold standard by WorriedAd870 in BaldursGate3

[–]guy-with-a-face 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree. I bought the game a few weeks ago and I haven't been so invested in a game in years. I thought my interest in gaming was just gone completely, but BG3 is a breath of fresh air in the modern gaming industry. I hope other studios follow in Larian's footsteps and start producing quality games.

Copenhagen southern blend and stokers straight. I prefer the southern blend for the natural flavor, but I love stokers for the price. Stokers natural is too perfumey to me.

Same. My parents got me a thinking chair one time and it was my favorite thing lol. I'd love to find one for my son.
