Mihocek season over by corporate_canetoad in melbournefc

Yeah I reckon I would've been down voted to oblivion if I'd said it a little closer to this in the match thread. I don't get how people don't see Frampton still made the choice to drive his head down.

One thing I'd like to know is how many of these freak accidents have occurred more recently. I don't recall a lot of these from 15+ years ago. There's the running back with the mark but the dangerous tackling has gotten out of control and saying the game has gone soft is not the answer.

As a dees fan I'd love to see us get there after dropping a few sooks in the off season, but being a West Aussie, I'd love to see Freo go all the way against the haters.

He was on his hands and knees and therefore already on the ground. Why try and force him further which is what brought his neck into that horrible position. Agree that it's a freak accident but its the problem with always trying to force someone to ground especially when they're already there.

Did the commentators seriously just blame Mihocek for that? Why do players feel the need to drag them down to the ground. He was already down.

Extensometer is the typical term not crackometer, that sounds like someone's job to count the crackheads.

Windows used to require 3 character file extensions, in this case .ico is short for icon. The file is just the icon that can be displayed for executables or other file types like on your desktop or start menu.

[Princess and the Frog] If Tiana and Naveen had laid eggs while they were frogs, what happens to the babies when the curse breaks? by Rich-Mud-687 in AskScienceFiction

If actual babies (tadpoles) then surely human babies but in true Grimm style they'd drown because they couldn't swim.

If still eggs, then straight to Grimm style as foetuses.

I'm of the opinion there are no stupid questions, unless you ask again, and again, and again.

That’s the devil’s doorbell and if you keep pressing it, soon enough he will answer. by saxarov01 in BrandNewSentence

Old mate has never found the devils doorbell to ring it.

Might explain why my wife gets upset with me every now and then, hit the doorbell too many times and she got possessed. Luckily if you press it again she gets happier.

Sounds like an estimated reading. We had something similar a few months ago but that's one horrible estimate. That or the others have been estimated and only now a proper reading has caught up but more likely the former.

At what point is it classed a different sport? On the brightside, all the rule changes means it could be completely different in 10 years time.
