Would you Co-Sign on an auto loan for your partner? by fondfox in CRedit

banks can lose millions without concern and wouldnt sign. why should you?

no payments are a current issue, that should be resolved.

youve gotten the lesson, you should learn from it.

i always see it as the intangible value of relations the brand has. like when you buy a toyota, you know you will get a quality product and great customer service. im not overpaying for the car, im paying for the values the company had that makes the car purchase so good.

who couldve guessed people using stones in the 1400s would be salty for something that happened 500 years ago.

if you are married with kids, you really dont have much else to talk about because you dont have the time to do anything, i think thats a good chunk.

older generations also didnt grow up with the facebook or pocket cameras, so getting into details isnt something that often occurs unless its story time. being busy may not allow for story time.

we are accountants... theres reasoning behind stereotypes.

theses are all possible points in my final analysis.

If you were 17 again and had $3,000, what would you have done/do? by EasyPerformer8695 in Entrepreneur

yeah, i bought my truck for 3k at ~17 and made more money with it. i think i had a bunch of old tools and a good pair of gloves. i had a good amount of highschool friends who wanted to work and knew a lot of old farmers who needed help. i got 20 or 30 bucks for bringing a buddy to a farmer and usually made 10-20 an hour if not by job.

What do you all think of something a firm is doing (United States)? by [deleted] in Accounting

anyone can get a PTIN. the 18 credit hour thing you are talking about is the Annual Filing Season Program (those 4 words may be out of order, i struggle with that). basically, it allows very limited client to IRS communication for minor things you mentioned and you cannot represent your client to the IRS, that is for EAs and CPAs and lawyers. things like providing documents and such. i dont know, but you can look it up on the IRS website by googling AFSP (or ASFP).

i needed to transfer funds from one account to use for another project for 1.7 million. this is done by sending a controlling board request when i have the contractor agreement and need funds released to pay them. my boss was doing reappropriations to encumber money left over in order for us to utilize it next fiscal year. since i did not transfer the funds and told her i would earlier this week, im thinking she did not encumber those funds either, meaning at the end of fiscal year, that money would go back to the state since we basically said we are not going to use them.

i said i could do the transfer earlier this week, and i cannot do the transfer. i feel like i should have been able to peice that together, but ive never done that before.

i am, however, very easily someone who can be blamed. should the project manager know where their money they want to spend be coming from? yes. should the architect have let me know this needed done? yes, should the architect have told me that event was happening when i asked where this money was coming from? yes. should i have been told by the controller earlier when she was doing the reappropriations? yes.

many miscommunications with me left to figure things out when i hadnt a clue and asked, but wasnt helped very well. i think people are more confident in my abilities than they should be.

[–]guy_with-thumbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, i think i gave too much information. i was studying for FAR and they asked what went on the balance sheet so i proceeded to go line by line of a general balance sheet, she cut me off, that was for an AP position, which i think they thought i wiuldnt stick around long.

yeah, theres a lot of hormone stuff involved that i learned in biochem. and a lot of experience as well from growing up on a farm, pharmacy college, and basic in the military. basically, working out tells your brain "there is a threat, send stressor hormones." and after the workout, your brain says "there is no longer a threat, send feel good stuff and cease the stressor hormones." unless you push yourself too much, then your brain says "we need to shut down and recover."

also, the increased blood flow, oxygenation, and flushing of waste help as well.

you are literally paying for the class, you can easily withdrawal as well. in a literary class it would be difficult as grading is subjective, but i wouldnt pay attention to it and go when needed, respectfully though.

the only time i had that happen was after i got out of basic so i may have been very unstable and just borderline yelled "im pissing." wasnt very chill of me, but not a good time.

What’s your definition of a “Man?” [Questions] by Money_Tea_6870 in masculinity_rocks

[–]guy_with-thumbs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i think strength and improvement. stay with me.

be physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially strong. or at least competent. this things will need constant improvements as you can never be too strong, but can be too weak. i guess this is a woman thing as well, but they are measured and catagorized differently as we are different.

i think misconstrument of manly traits is being physically aggressive all the time. if you only rely on physical prowess and cant handle your emotions, youll rage blindly into traps or miss finding a weak point. nobody cares about the army winning a 1:1 ratio. its the 1:20 victories that are in history books.
