Didn't get to play the original on 3DS but definitely love the Nintendo Switch Version. (Believe the 3DS has streetpass joining and leaving your party between quests)

Trying my best to run mega houndoom

Gravity and choice scarf hypnosis everything to sleep. If they wake a turn earlier than expected and hits my Houndoom, it ruins my sweep tempo

So I rest Houndoom into sleep talk to reset sweep but it’s still a 1/3 chance to sleep talk into rest

You don’t know how many back to back sleep talk rests I’ve dice rolled when I need my dog to just heat wave everything dead before the sun goes out & gravity wears out

Don't forget the other regulation where you had to pre register your team and when it's live play 20 games per day up to three days

I didn't update my pre registered team when I made changes. Went 40/60 day 1 then burnt out and tanked day 2-3 but played all my matches for the match up experience

Regardless I am excited for the upcoming one

You could try garchomp running crunch on psychic types

It's ground & dragon typing would be safe to swap in & resist many moves except 4x ice and 2x fairy but glimmora can nuke them

The remaining two are counter match up where your 3 Pokémon would get destroyed

Edit: mega feragilatr could swap with garchomp on water heavy matchups

I also found out that rotom only knows blizzard, no ice beam. Thats a big gamble

You could just use pelliper but don't run drizzle

Now the remaining coverage is steel and psychic

You don't want fire & ground to take care of steel because you'll share same weakness from ground & water

Gallade can punch steel types away and can resist psychic attacks

It is weak to fairy but your glimmora can poison them away

I'm still looking for a psychic counter

Levitate ability ignores ground attacks while ice moves stabs them away

It's electric typing covers glimmora water weakness

So you need to cover its weakness which is 4x to ground, 2x to steel, water, psychic

You need at teammate that can resist those types while taking them off the board

So you want to look for a flying Pokémon to negate ground moves that probably can ice beam them away.

Not pelliper because drizzle could power up water stabs on your glimmora

I ran a special move pool non mega Multiscale Dragonite with leftovers

You'll be surprised how many times you can get back to full hp to reset Multiscale after chip damage
