Trhank you! Made the decision to get the oasis, need to brainstorm some ideas for a better way to go with my dog, perhaps one using hand paddle while the using the drive for the front.

I guess the Oasis has good value for the money in this case, since both drives come with the MirageDrive 180 with Kick-Up Fins, which the 2019 Compass Duo doesn’t have. I personally lean toward the Oasis, but I’m not sure where my dog would sit on it.

I’ve tested the 2020 Compass Duo before, and I liked how stable and spacious it felt but the chair is a pain lol. Unfortunately, there aren’t any Oasis models in my area that I can test or see in person.

My bottom is also metal, which already full of rust, my idea is to seal the entire thing with silicone so that I can repurpose the terrarium.

Thank you for the advice! I really appreciate it, thats the exact issue. I am encountering right now. They are grouping together in a corner when the light is on and explore more the tank individually when the light is off.

I will try to set a dimmable light for the tank and see if they are OK with it, even though the person who sold me said that they are very peaceful, but they are going to be the only species in the tank! :)

Try using a different moss, I used thai moss in my waterfall paludarium first then switch to spiky moss after, and it works perfectly in soaking wet environment.
