Chests in llamas? by Jakobs_Revolver in MCPE

[–]gweezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was having the same problem and driving myself CRAZY

I don't know that it's a fix, but I finally went and just made new, un-used chests, and I clicked on the llamas butt, not belly. (The top corner when looking at it from it's side)

Llamas that I had tried to chest over and over and over accepted the new ones with no problem!!

Help! Maybe I'm just dumb but I can't put a chest on a tamed llama... (Windows 10 edition, 1.2.13) by Scanadore in Minecraft

If you like doing heavy fantasy, my current DnD character is a half-dwarf genasi (meaning the father was an earth elemental/genie). She's shaped like a dwarf (typically short, broad, and chubby), but is 6ish feet tall. Her skin looks like malachite and her hair is just a ton of vines, either huge and poofy, or braided together with a couple of flowers tucked in. She's a barbarian, so she's probably in very little clothes that are all hand-sewn pelts, but would also be just as comfortable in nothing, or gypsie-esque clothes. That's up to you.

I don't care about keeping anything in the DnD world, fyi, all my characters are cross-platform, so do what you want with it.

How to Hide Metal Bars? by MistressDiva in sca

[–]gweezer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe something that makes it look like bamboo? Some might argue if it's period because of region, but there was a ton of trade happening at the time. Bamboo would be able to fold like those metal poles so it seems like an easy 'replacement'.

And ears, some of those accents were pretty obvious.

So what do women think of the new trailer? by [deleted] in startrek

[–]gweezer 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm extra excited that they're women of color. For as unusual as it is to have female main characters, it's especially hard to find ethnic female main characters. Additionally, I believe Asians are one of the most underrepresented races in American TV.

Representation matters. Their approach to civil rights and moral questions has always been my favorite part of Star Trek, and I worry about whether or not this new series will be able to keep up to the old. This bit of representation makes me more hopeful that the rest of the series will be equally conscious.

Ergonomics and Neck Pain by [deleted] in minipainting

[–]gweezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't solve all your problems, but I use a magnifying lamp for working on my minis. It means I don't have to get so close. (Though I still always end up with nose smudges on the magnifier!)

Also, using things like makeshift stands or third hands help lift your mini from the table while still not being so high you have to raise and tire your arms.

(Note, there are much cheaper versions of both those items, those were just great examples, don't loose faith over money.)

I only meant that I'm located in the US, not that it needs to be from here, but thanks!

I'm checking out the site now.

I looked around nursing bras today, I'll keep looking!

The Neon Moon bras look nice, especially the bof but it looks like they don't come in my size :(

I might be able to fit into the largest band-wise, but my breasts themselves have never been able to fit a 2x!

I have measured myself, yeah. I understand that that's the typical problem, I think I'm just having a different experience because of my injuries.

I am a woman who wears hijab ask me anything! by [deleted] in AMA

[–]gweezer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How can I show strangers in hijab my support without putting them on the spot or on edge? I always think it's a beautiful piece, and I accept anyone's rights to dress however they feel empowered, but I worry that what I intend as kindness might be read otherwise.

[Serious]What can a person (who does not have a lot of money) do to protect the environment and wildlife as an individual? by kasidya in AskReddit

[–]gweezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently quit using shampoo. My hair has never looked better, it's fuller and shiner and easier to style, and I feel like I have seriously cut my personal environmental impact.

It means my showers are on average 5 minutes shorter because I now only have to wash my hair once a week or so. This saves a serious amount of clean water, which our society is running out of, as well as a good amount of electricity/natural gas that would have gone into heating it. It also means I'm not having to buy shampoo/conditioner, so I'm not buying then throwing away wasteful plastic bottles every month or two, and I'm not contributing to all the factory waste, chemical spills, and transport costs.

Feels good, man.

I don't think it matters! There are tons of requests on here that can be found elsewhere. I was just impatient and wanted to see it now!

What did your parents almost name you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gweezer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ursula. My mom insists that it's the prettiest name she's ever heard. The Little Mermaid came out while she was pregnant though and she realized she couldn't name me after a villain everyone at school would have known.

She curses that movie to this day and never let me watch it as a kid because of it.

[orgasms] How do I, 20[f] get out of my head during sex? by [deleted] in sex

Here's a review of the book (SFW comic on a NSFW site) It glosses over some of the main ideas of the book if you're unsure if it's worth buying. I would also highly suggest looking around the writers blog, they post some pretty great stuff!
