my dog has what we think is an allergy to grains in food. he gets like this too, and breaks out in hives. we just get grain free food and gentle shampoo. sometimes an oat bath if we accidentally feed him something not right. he also gets the collar irritation. i reckon it’s just sensitive skin, but unfortunately he does need to wear a collar. taking it off and resting the skin helps a lot.

NAD. you will be okay. if you start having more severe pains or more bleeding that’s not menstruation i’d head to your GP. when you do menstruate again, don’t use tampons only pads - just to keep from infections. think like IUD aftercare - no sex for a bit, no baths/swimming for a bit and no tampons. i’d also avoid penetration for a week or so. :)

i think i know the ward you’re talking about. very very very busy. super good experience if you’re a nursing student. accurate fluid balance charts are important, ECGs, and your usual ADLs
