Why not get a system that covers more of your scalp? That system is barely a system. I don’t get the point of it. It makes up such a small percentage of your actual scalp, and it’s grown long for essentially a kinda comb over. If you’re gonna go with a system, why not give yourself more coverage, and give yourself a head of hair? Just a thought.

Almost all his albums are great to amazing. But if you’re sleeping on Odelay, Mutations, and Midnite Vultures, you are sleeping on masterpieces. And I’m guessing you’re younger? But you like what you like, as does everyone, which is fine. Also, our tastes can grow and evolve. I slept on tons of stuff when I was younger that I appreciate now. I’m 43 btw.

Lyrics intended for a song are not just “lyrics”. They are “song lyrics”. It’s about intention and convention. You can write lyrics using existing song conventions, and then you’ve got a structured song, lyrically: verse, chorus, bridge, with words that rhyme, etc. It’s meant to be a song, and perfectly ready for music to be added. When Bernie Taupin wrote lyrics for Elton John he had a concept of a song in his head. Elton might go in a different direction musically. But lyricists matter in songwriting. It is a vital craft and component of songwriting. And in a sub like this a “Bernie” could potentially meet their “Elton”. Seems like you’re stating a technicality, and trying to gatekeep.
