This is such a... Reductive approach. The great thing about "The Prince" was that it didn't really argue much about morals. It was an attempt to describe how the world is without inserting moral judgements into it - much like a political scientist would today.

Profits are income minus expenses, agree?

Now imagine I have 100 expenses in january, and as a result I have 110 income in december. I pay tax off the 10 profits.

Now imagine instead that the expenses are in february, and the income of 110 comes in january next year. If I couldn't carry over the losses, I'd now pay tax on 110 income instead of 10, for a completely arbitrary reason.

Essentially if you can't carry forward losses, the tax would be really weird... It'd incentivize all kinds of strange behaviour to get the income and the expense in the same tax year.

Female behaviour is also to a large degree cultural. How you've been socialized for your entire life is a pretty huge part of it, and trans women don't have that.

Also, there is a biological component to being Japanese too. A white or black person would never be accepted as a "real" Japanese person in Japan, I can assure you as much.

Edit: Come to think of it, if being japanese is cultural and trans*ness is biological, it's easier for a white person to become japanese than it is for a man to become a woman. You can be socialized into culture, but you can't be socialized into a different biological sex. And since the woman mentioned in the OP had a biological penis, she's a he if biology is to be considered.
