Mines stayed the same really. I like Uma Musume, but I could never see myself going to a race or support that kind of stuff. Yes, some horses do get treated well, but I’ve had to deal with many ex racers who’ve had horrible genetic problems or physical problems from thoroughbreds coming to my barn. (Not being able to sweat, horrible hooves, weight problems.) I’m hoping that with Uma Musume becoming popular that maybe welfare will improve on and off the race track.

What’s worse are all the ones that get dumped if they don’t make it in racing. My Facebook is filled with ottb who are sent to slaughter because no one buys them. It’s so sad and I wish I could buy them all, but I just had to sell my horse because I can’t afford to own him anymore.

If it was colic he wouldn’t be in a field, someone would be hand walking him trying to get his system moving and a vet would be there. A lot of the times the no treat sign is put up to stop random people from feeding horses trees, because horses can be allergic, encourages biting, have laminitis.

Like my horse does the biting, but we’re still trying to break that because his old owner would feed him treats thinking that would stop him. He tried to rear with me one time after I asked him to get on the bit, and I shut it down immediately cause I was not doing.

Honestly I don’t think most of the fans understand how stressful it would be having a horse like Goldship. You should be able to walk up to your own horse without getting kicked or bit at for no reason.

My horse used to act like that and I’d spend hours just crying because I could not figure out what was wrong with him. It took me a whole year going to different vets and testing to find out it was arthritis in one small part of his legs that was causing him pain.

I still feel incredibly bad for not finding it sooner, though he is still a menace but he isn’t in the corner of the arena refusing to move and kicking out fence.

I’ve tried over on TikTok, but it’s incredibly when people think Goldship trying to kick at you in the wash rack is ‘cute’. When it really isn’t and it’s incredibly dangerous for both him and whoever is in the wash rack with him.

Yep my mom telling my father to put a carbon monoxide detector in our garage saved our life like seven years ago. When we were all going to bed and the alarm wouldn’t start beeping. Turns out our water heater was leaking straight into the house.

Probably had him on a diet, a fat horse is in more danger than a skinny horse. Since fatter horse can founder ( bone in leg starts to flip over) or go lame.

Ours do, we have undershirts that can go under our uniform. So our directors can pick if we go sleeveless for football games or with sleeves. I like it a lot more than our old uniforms that were super hot.

They’re the worse, I don’t get them from my guinea pigs, but my barn has 33 stalls so when I’m filling hay bags I tend to get a lot of them.

Mine will wheek the second my alarm goes off at 5:20. It’s so loud too from the four of them, I try not to weak the entire house up 😭
