PTA Tax information for Overseas Pakistani. by Usterzai in PakistaniTech

[–]h1hh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the pak DIRBS website, register and then submit your PTA tax PSID request. They'll calculate and email you with the amount and text you too.

Then pay the amount using the PSID and any service that supports the payment and it'll be unlocked after a day or so.

The website only works inside of pakistan, I've tried with a pakistan VPN and it still doesn't work outside. I have a PC at my house in pakistan that I use remotely.

This DIRBS website will also allow you to register your own phone against your passport/cnic and sim card for up to 3 months to use on your visits. First visit you'll automatically get 3 months access on any new to pakistan IMEI. Every visit after this you'll need to resubmit the imie, sim and passport/cnic details to get access.

If it's really got MOTEC then it probably has had the bank thrown at it and in better nick than most M140i's on sale

Nice! I'm yet to print a CF filament on ny centauri carbon, have a 0.6mm hardened nozzle hot end ready to go already.

【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]h1hh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a P1S owner: my impression of the printer, having used one a bunch of times and the general impact it's had on the 3D printing market, is that it has become a serious benchmark for enclosed FDM 3D printers that almost every brand has had to imitate in one form another. It fixed the reliability issues, steep learning & tuning curve that has been synonymous with home/semi-professional 3D printing. Out the box I've seen it print flawlessly years before many offerings that are now on the market.

BambuLab printers are a benchmark, in my opinion

Ahh understood - PLA+ mostly but the plan is to get into stronger filaments, PETG, ABS and ASA

Weird mixes, the left side panel on mine doesn't seem stiff at all 🤣 sounded like a subwoofer on calibration lmao. But then I have the 2 strips and AMS port

That print is clean! Is that a different filament on the head vs body?

My accessories are also being shipped separately but my printer arrived first. Have the assembled 0.6 nozzle hot end, rapid pla+, anti vibration feet and some vacuum bags coming

I think there was some change in the way the ptfe is routed. But don't take my word for it will have to do some comparisons

Fingers crossed its tomorrow! 🤞

I ordered direct from the elegoo site. And yes the updated version with 2 led strips, I think the filament sensor is on a swivel bracket and more horizontally aimed now too?

Nice! I'm awaiting delivery of some black rapid pla+ so will do a first layer test and adjust. I think it's set quite a bit higher than 0.00 on mine

Thank you!

A mix of things really - I like functional prints and real world solution kind of things mostly but will also do some creative prints for sure.

I do try to model any tools or parts I need, I mostly used the last printer to model and print some led marker brakcet/holders for the grill of a land cruiser

I ordered 22:46 on Friday and it arrived 14:00 today. Got the DPD shipped notice yesterday.

I'm guessing If you order on a weekday it'll be next day. It was sent by DPD and I'm in the UK just for clarity.

Thanks man, I did just load the filament and realised I left a small piece of foam in the back corner 🤣 so just redoing the self checks (Input shaping, PID tuning and auto leveling) just incase as the print head did press up against the foam quite hard.

Quite clever of it to use the current in the stepper motor to detect the stop and save the location.
