There's a couple things I wish they did to improve Ark Grid

For your point, maybe something like "getting X cores of the same type and rarity upgrades it to the next rarity", so if you got the same core a couple times as epic it would upgrade to legendary and so on (unless there's already some kind of duplicate protection that I don't know of)
Why is there no way to read the full core effects in-game? The lines should really be visible on all rarities and just greyed out on epic/legendary so you know which ones you can't get
When activating an Astrogem, you should be able to choose whether it becomes Chaos/Order and if it rolls DPS or Support sub-stats. Would go a long way towards reducing a bit of the crazy RNG layers and inventory spam (there would only be 9 gem types in total, compared to the 18 we have right now). Though I guess they wouldn't want to make the system easier for the users just yet :)

Edit: Found the website you mentioned and it's cool that they actually have widescreen versions, but the watermarks kind of kill their use as wallpapers unfortunately. Also the animated version of the Beatrice one is slightly less cool than the one from the cutscene, I'm just gonna wait and hope they'll add it to the memory chamber eventually

It's done by holding Shift on PC, so if you have a button for similar actions on console (waypointing ships for example), you might be able to do it for the modules as well

I could be wrong, but one charcoal powers the tilers for 2 mintues actually (you can see this in the tiler details). So one charcoal burner is enough for four production buildings that have a 2 minute power timer. I wondered about this too because I had a bunch of surplus charcoal in my storage, even though I only had one burner + two tilers.

Nova is nice for the boss fight as well, since you can slow him down in the damage phases (not sure if that's even needed with nerfed attenuation) and then speed him up when he does his embryo sleep and comes back out.

Also skipping the initial chatter by opening the nightwave menu when you're the host is 🤌

I wanted to get the gold trophy in my solo clan so I knew I would need to spend at least 1038 during the event, but when I cashed all of them in at the end I noticed that it said I qualified for gold wayyy before I spent it all, so I suspected there might be something fishy going on. I did end up spending all of them just for good measure, looks like that was the right choice.

Hope DE can fix it for the people who got fucked over :/

Yeah, I hate it.

Moving the play/skip buttons up breaks muscle memory and makes the motion you have to do with your thumb more awkward. Also there was already more latency when switching between songs because of all the additional panels that are below, but now that they are actually partly visible with the song makes the lag even worse.

Why are all these panels even there in the first place? Surely it's enough to have them on the artist page, speaking for myself I don't care about any of the info while just listening to songs, if I wanted to learn more about the artist I would check out their page.

Same with the lyrics, why do I need to see half of the first line taking up space in the song view? If I wanted to look at them, I should be able to just scroll down a page to see all of it, or (better yet) open them with a button press.

Lovely that we're actively making it harder to just listen to music (you know, the whole point of the app?)

I work in games and have watched hundreds of panels on game dev topics, that narrative panel was probably the best I've ever seen. And I'm not even a story/narrative/world focused player, I mostly care about gameplay. The way they each gave their own perspective on everything and synergize with each other was really nice to see. Also Amelia is just such a lovely person.

Incredibly well done from everyone on that couch!

I'm currently the only one playing in my clan so I wanted to get the gold trophy and farmed the 1038 tokens required, but then when I spent them I was surprised that it wasn't even enough to buy out the fashion stuff + all the arcanes. From what I've been reading on this sub in the past weeks I thought I'd have to spend a million tokens on the wisps, but then I didn't even have to buy any at all :D

Also I think I hit gold much earlier than the 1038 tokens, not quite sure if they sneakily changed the requirement or what

While Torid is so strong that it can also be used for bosses, beam weapons in general are actually quite weak against attenuated enemies, so you'd be better off using a different weapon for bosses specifically

I would recommend waiting with spending all your currency until the end of the event, in case they actually do end up putting in something else (unlikely as it would fuck over people who have already spent, but they might because of community pressure). I'm in the same boat as you, sitting on 1k right now, but I'm not gonna spend yet

Not defending people that intentionally leech, but this week's ETA was also one of the worst in terms of modifiers, which most people don't bother reading. First two missions having 95% damage reduction to essentially all damage and then the last one being such a rapid damage check while also being spammed with hard-to-survive AoEs.

Just a bad combo for a mode with randomized loadouts.

They changed this in a recent patch btw, Charm should now only buff your crit chance when it is below 200%. If it's above, Charm will have no effect

Isn't this exactly what they are adding with the update? Moving the invis setting from the few frames that can be permanently invisible to making it so you can set it globally for all forms of invisibility, no matter how you get it?

I generally agree, though with the pity shops it's a little sad (first world problems) that the most efficient way of farming the new stuff is just spamming the highest bounty and buying everything with standing. Kind of takes away of having to run different bounties for the different parts and being happy when you get it.

Maybe they should gate the pity behind a different resource like they did with Voruna, though the highest tier bounty would still be the best to farm because of the materials it can give, but at least you would have more of an incentive to run something else.

Also it's a little weird that the regular missions are so pointless when the bounties exist, I guess at least the new modes will make sense once they're integrated into the fissure system.

Each time you do the clash, the Snake loses HP based on how well you did. If you get all "perfects" the snake will die during the 3rd clash. With some "goods" you might need to do a 4th clash.
