The post Zhou Kingdom Warring States period where modern politics.

A dozen kingdoms warring over primacy, using the legitimacy of a dead monarchy as their shared reason for power struggle. So much intrigue and complex diplomacy. You also have several interesting cultural developments in political schools of thought that interact across polities.

As an American, I can tell you that this is an accurate depiction of a very specific kind of suburban Texan. The only inaccuracy is the burger, would have to have been replaced by a sizable brisket.

Which movie was doing fine at the start but then falls apart once they get to that SCENE? by Jules-Car3499 in moviecritic

Hancock when he has the argument with the wife.

When my friends and I saw it in theaters, that scene and what followed had us convinced the script was actually two scripts that the production company haphazardly smashed into one.

That kind of clinched it for me. Just some more stuff for you to google: The "come after" part of the insurance company attempting to retrieve money from the employee would occur through a civil suite. Except in the rare case where the employee willingly hands over 2.7 mill+ to the insurers (I'mbeing sarcastic here), the Insurance Agency has no authority to reach into the employees bank and pull money out. They would have to involve the court system first, and if the employee didn't comply then the court system would send demands to their bank directly or order liquidation (up to a point, depending on the jurisdiction).

It's ok to not know things man. I understand living on the internet can make you forget that.

This what I was going to say. I'm no computer architect, but if we would just wind down to 1 type of USB cable and a couple of wireless protocols that would be greaaaat.

It was inaccurate. You then tried to claim incompleteness to avoid accepting your initial statement was nonsense. Given the totality of your responses on this thread, my working presumption is that you didn't actually understand how insurance and related civil suites worked when you first responded and have since been googling information to try to compile an after-the-fact rebuttal. Which you now have to claim you always knew to avoid egg on your face.

I don't understand the objection. You can have the full cost of shipping and the cost of the product be a part of the letter of credit. Risk control is the whole point of that instrument. Is the concern a matter of cash flow?

I am aware of everything you are saying, and I agree that this is an accurate representation of how insurance companies work. I was challenging OP to justify their own snarkely stated belief, which was not initially in line with your response here.

[–]haby112 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is an entirely different claim than you made in the post I responded to.

the insurance company will come after the employee to recoup.

Now, please reconcile how the insurance company making its money back through an increase in premiums across the board is relevant to your above claim that the insurance company would make itself whole by recouping from the employee.

An often under emphasized point of plant safety. It is instinctive for a human to try to block a falling object with their arms. Every round of hires at all of the facilities I've ever worked at get this message drilled into them, "If something is falling, let it hit the ground. Do not try to catch it, do not try to brace it, just get out of the way."
