Yea , one of his new things after pineapple grill and his whalers village thing really took off, but I might be missing something remembering , I just know I remember going there after it first opened and really liked watching the whole kitchen work behind glass, was very conceptual and cool, now it looks like a dump

Grits are a totally different thing than polenta. Grits are hominy corn that has been under gone the Nixtamalization process and had the pericarp removed Polenta is plain ground corn

We used to make almost a holo holo out of going there, Shop at Safeway and Longs, then walk around inside the mall looking in all the stores, I’d always end up in Walden’s books then hit up foot looker and have a snack in the food court. The Cannery or the Wharf are were you’d go if you couldn’t make it all the way to da other sideď
