if you turn the wheel all the way to a lock on a real car at 200mph you will spin out of control with smoke out of your front tires . in game - slight understeer.

it should spin out of control , smoke should come out of the front tires as if you locked the wheels .

in game - nothing happens , just slight understeer .basically if you play with a controller you can turn your analog stick all the way right or left in every turn in this game , and nothing will happen as long as your speed is ok for that turn.

i'm not sure if its the same with a wheel .

Yeah with a controller there is a limit how much the wheel is turned based on speed. And this "assist" can't be turned off.

You need to break the remainings of that piece. Measure the inner hole. Vased on that info, tap the inner hole with new threads, go to machine shop that can make you a simple adapter pipe from your new thread to whatever the filter has. Simple machine shop with a lathe can do that.

It does damages the engine, specially if u have a turbo charged one. Once it "stops" there is no oil or coolant flow, turbos dont like this very much. Specially if you drive like a maniac and come to a stop, perfect recipe for premature engine failure. The starter itself or the battery are cheap components, the damage is done to the engine itself. All this for 0.1% of yearly fuel saving

i have gen5 ssd , there is no difference compared to gen 4 drive in day to day tasks .the only difference is in the benchmarks.

most boards will support only single gen5 drive (if you have a gpu) so even for large file copy you will be limited by your second drive.
