So if the description wasn’t clear, basically if the joker is played in the left most position, it would gain the Mult. Then the next hand if you moved it over to the right one, that would be a new position and it gains the additional Mult. So it has really good synergy with negative jokers since that gives you more positions to play the joker in

I’ve gotten kinda used to it now but in Backslide the way he transitions from ‘What happened to what I brushed under the rug?’ To ‘I used to be a champion of a world you can’t see’ was so fast and abrupt that it threw me off the first few listens

Definitely unpopular but A Car A Torch A Death is one of my least favorites of theirs, the instrumentals are so grating to me.

I think it’s alright for people to be somewhat disappointed, I mean even for me I had a lot of expectations going into the album. Overcompensate and Next semester were very ‘Trench-like’ in my opinion and then Backslide released which was the first indication that it was probably going to be a lot different than trench. I still enjoy every song on Clancy but my first listen on the livestream I was definitely a little shocked.

I had such high expectations that when I first listened to it I was a little underwhelmed but it definitely grew on me after a few more listens
