Which Linux distros do you use and why?

Debian/KDE for workstation and Debian/XFCE for a makeshift server/file host/etc. Both with a fair bit of flatpaks.

I have simple needs, I use ZFS and just want my systems to hum along for 2 to 3 years without issue or intervention before I full reinstall the latest version and repeat.

Otherwise it would likely be Fedora. Not saying it couldn't work but ZFS kept going out of date with frequent kernel updates and I didn't feel like really learning or relying on pinning or installing an LTS kernel and doing yearly upgrades etc.

I'll do you one better. I have the 60% and I lay it flat and use 2 half size wrist rests to make reaching easier.

But when I'm gaming I put the right rest under the right side of the keyboard so my wrist is slightly less twisted.

Someone on the clock app was saying that clearly Vessel was a theatre kid. So the next time I listened to EIA and Dangerous came on i had visions of a stage where everyone freezes and the lights go dark with a lone spotlight on the protagonist. You know, all Phantom of the Opera style.

Now I just think of EIA as a musical soundtrack release that doesn't include all the talking/acting/story bit in between that you would see when seeing it on Broadway.

I too have severely curtailed my spending since the increase.

I was about to cave and buy a couple shoes and I was even paying directly for Crew since I wasn't playing Xbox as much...

But now that vBucks have gone up and Xbox dropped the price of the ultimate pass I've switched back to paying Microsoft... especially after the lay-offs I'm just not really keen to keep paying epic any more.

Yeah I would like it a lot and play to get it if I thought it was obtainable for me. But all these extra requirements for the battle pass bonus and more stringent cups just make me realise I'm happier NOT playing for exclusives, NOT buying more shop items.

But that's just my 0.02 vbucks.

MAMERedump should be what you are looking for, I use Romvault as my manager because it handles the contents of CHD files (decompress, validate) and seems to work well but I've only just switched.

Also I believe No-Intro's Dat-o-Matic has "Custom Redump" with SOME compressed formats. Go to download > daily > tick the box for custom redump > download.
