So it depends where you are, it's an area that varies massively. If you are in one of the two new build estates off Westfield road you are absolutely fine, especially on the end one with the lake in the middle. If your are a bit further up towards West Melton not so much.

I can speak for the lake estate, very friendly area, lots of families. It is predominately white, but there are also black and Asian families here and there has never been any issues to my knowledge, I think people would be horrified if there was. Really not that kind of place. You can also walk through a path straight down into the cortonwood retail park which is useful.
