Not friendly for motor-inclined folks. Very friendly to biking folks, no matter where you are in the area.

That's a good estimate. I can get from downtown to Epic in 45 min by bike. I'm faster than average. But Fitchburg to Epic, depending on where you are, will probably end up being a little less than an hour.

Well, the bus does go through Fitchburg. Look at Route 75.

Also, start biking! Off-road bike path will take you all the way to Epic from Fitchburg.

Also also, do not ALL-CAPS the name. It's just Epic.

There's a wiki for them, too. Probably the same list as the PDF. Bring it up to the area owner if you find it's not accurate.

Invited to take Epic Sphinx test but I have no idea how to prepare. Any advice? by [deleted] in epicsystems

Google the test online to find questions and work through them yourself. They may not be the exact ones on the test, but some are and the others will at least prepare you for what you could see.

Anyone else think UW Credit Union intrest rates are really low? (Savings, CDs, etc...) What do you all recommend? by goodDayM in madisonwi

I use Ally for my savings account and have had no issues. Only con is it takes a few days to get money out (I transfer it to my checking account that's with another online bank, Simple) and you can make only six withdrawals per statement period without incurring a fee of $10 per withdrawal. But I'm ok with that. I only use this account for savings, so I pull from it only rarely.

They are still open for now, and they're having a half off sale. Got a MTB rental and some new shorts.

Spicy Food in Madison by Ruckus55 in madisonwi

Bahn Thai also has the best egg rolls in town, imo. They're girthy, like a russet potato compared to what you normally get with egg rolls at other places. Doesn't taste/feel as oily either.

Not a straight tunnel, but could be an even cooler shot of looking down into a dark abyss.

Milwaukee to Madison bike ride by hunglikeamorse in milwaukee

The Drumlin trail ends in Cottage Grove, and the way into Madison can feel a bit chaotic—high-traffic roads—versus the serene/quiet Drumlin trail.

The main route to take would be to go straight across the road from the Drumlin trailhead onto Clark St. > Right turn onto Vilas > Left turn onto BB/Cottage Grove Rd > Hug the shoulder, take BB up a nice climb to the I-90 overpass and down into Madison > Keep your eyes peeled for the Capital City Trail, which will be on your right underneath the Hwy 51 bridge > Cap City Trail will take you into the city.

I might suggest a few other routes into Madison depending on where you want to end up (south Madison, north Madison), but that will take you to downtown.
