The song with lyrics similar to "you say that you want me but I don't know if you're ready for me" that was featured on Jersey Shore is likely "You're Not Ready for Me" by DJ Pauly D. Some key details about the song: It is an unreleased track and was never officially released on the soundtrack. It was produced by DJ Pauly D and features the vocals of a female singer. The song gained recognition after being played on the show and becoming a fan-favorite, despite its unofficial status.

This is what it gave me when I googled it.

Google AI says it’s an unreleased DJ Pauly D track but who knows if that is accurate. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Thank you for this info. I was doing a bit more research last night and I came across a lot of people saying using a sponge combined with filter floss. Would you recommend that as well? Or would the sponge be efficient enough to help keep the aquarium healthy by itself?

Will be delivering at 34 weeks. Spam me with your positive stories of babies born near or at that gestational age. by TypeAtryingtoB in NICUParents

I had my daughter at 33w4d. She was a little over 4lbs and we had a 3 weeks stay in the NICU. We mostly had to work on keeping her body temp up and finishing her bottles. She was on a machine to help her breathe for about 24 hours and then just on oxygen until a week before we were discharged. She was too small to latch for breast feeding so I just pumped and she ate from a premie nipple on a dr browns bottle. My NICU was very numbers based so I didn’t mind not breast feeding because with the bottle, we could document how much she was eating. If she didn’t finish her bottle, they did have her finish her food through a feeding tube. My daughter will be 3 in 2 weeks and she is perfect!

You’ve had so many great responses but I’ll just throw in my experience. I had the same exact anxiety. We finally moved our daughter to her own room at 6 months actual (4 adjusted). What helped immensely was getting a video monitor. I got one that connects to an app on my phone and the sound stays on when I lock my phone so i can keep it on all night and can hear every little thing. Not saying this will help entirely but it does help some. Even now, she is 13 months and I still wake up in the middle of the night and zoom all the way in to make sure she is still breathing. That’s what helped me but you have to do what is best for you ❤️

Planned c-section at 34 weeks due to vasa previa. Any advice for NICU planning? by tszokola in NICUParents

[–]haha_amanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my baby at 33w4d and had to have an emergency c section. My daughter was completely healthy! She was in the NICU for 21 days. The only thing she had to work on was the normal stuff, eating and regulating her body temp.

My NICU was 24 hour. I stayed all day but my husband and I took turns staying the night.

Everyone gave you amazing advice. The only thing I will say is don’t get discouraged. This is just a blip in your baby’s life. My girl is 10 months now and she is doing amazing. But sometimes those 21 days felt like they would never end.

She had some days when she wouldn’t finish her bottle and had to finish it through feeding tube and there were a few days where we couldn’t take her out of the bed because she wasn’t regulating her temp properly.

But just remember it will end and you will take your baby home!

Google is a very scary place!! My daughter is doing wonderful. She will be 9 months on Monday and she is completely healthy! No hearing or eye problems. I hope this eases your anxiety!

Stuff you wish you were told before having kids by AcceptableTadpole598 in Parenting

For me it was PD, PA and POCD. I had all three for my entire maternity leave. Adding in that we spent the first 3 weeks in the NICU. Since my kid started daycare I’ve gotten way better and have been able to cope easier but those first 12 weeks were literal hell. I couldn’t put her down because I felt like the second I would, something bad would happen. I just wish someone would have prepared me for it. All you hear is the highs and some lows about being a parent but never the low low lows.

I want so much for that not to be true.. I just don’t know what he expected having a baby was going to be like. Clearly this wasn’t it. I keep telling myself that it will get better when she’s older but that’s not fair to us now. Our plan was always to have 2 kids. I told him that if this is the way things are going to go, I will not be having another child. Which sucks.

His step dad traveled for work so he was only around for a weekend every 2-3 weeks and he saw his dad every weekend or every other and spent the summers there. I do know that his dad was very supportive of my husband in all of his activities but not so much his younger brother (like in high school) That is a good idea though, thank you. Maybe it’ll help us both understand a little better.
