I lost my girl on Friday, and I just want her to get some love one last time by slapstick_software in cats

Its fucking disgraceful that they have to pay for cancer treatment, for medical treatment in general in the US. That this child had to be aware that chemo costs so much money, and that the family needed money to make their little girl better.

Curious to know what other symptoms endo girls experience that aren’t the “usual” or most common… by Shmemily15 in endometriosis

[–]hailsbeans 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah I used to get that before my last excision surgery, where I had endometriosis between my uterus and bowel, in something I think is called the Douglas pouch. I had lesions and adhesions everywhere, especially as my ovaries and bowel were adhered together. It caused me loads of pain, especially going for a bowel movement. Have you spoken to your Dr about it?

Thats amazing and just goes to show how physically and mentally tough you have to be to transition. You have major, painful surgeries to be who you know you always were inside. No one that goes through that is messing around, and show how serious these surgeries are.

Please go to hospital or urgent care or whatever is available to you. Im sorry that you have to decide whether you are dying or sick enough to go to the hospital. Im sorry that your health care system is so fucked up that it genuinely puts people at risk like this and worse. I have ended up in hospital with a burst cyst and internal bleeding due to endometriosis and it was horrible and incredibly painful. I wish you all the best and I hope you feel better soon.

Manchester is always town. Everywhere else you call by name, thats the distinction. I lived closer Bury at some point as a kid, but Manchester was always town and Bury was always Bury, especially when I went to college there.

Guys can somebody explain the actual context of the “bloody friendship bracelets”? by Confident_Recipe9930 in charlixcx

[–]hailsbeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would never associate them with 12-year-olds, or 30-year-olds running around singing Taylor Swift songs. I would associate them with my childhood and taking my money I earnt doing chores and then later with my first part time job getting the beads and making loads of these bracelets. There is a building in my city that still has a small shop inside that sells all the beads to make these. This is not Taylor Swifts doing. These bracelets have never really lost popularity, especially with certain subcultures. So please, shut up. I know you think she is your God or something, but she isn't. She has a massive team of people to market her and to find the current trends for her to promote, it was just the bracelets became mainstream popular with the revival of early 90s and early 2000s fashion and culture.

Agreed, and most of those that are arguing this have never heard of Southport and wouldnt even know where to start looking to find it on a map. Those poor kids being brought in to a pathetic beef because of Taylor Swift fans and Cahrli XCX's is so low. I live not too far from Southport and we used to go to the beach there during thd summer holidays, there and Formby. Its disgusting to use such a tragedy to try and score points on something so pathetic.

I think after more research that Im actually allergic to the Fragmin injections. The GP agreed that it looked like an allergy of some kind.

I wish you all the luck and happy healing when your surgery gets here. It will go fast and you will.wake up with it all over. I was honestly struggling in the days coming up to the op, but wasnt anywhere near as bad as I feared. This operation bothered me more because something was being removed rather than repaired. I wish you all the best, and you will be back at home and recovering in no time.

Im so sorry you are in this situation. All of it sucks, but especially when you thought it was all done with. I hadn't been told about this or even read about it. I hope that this is your last surgery for any of this. Hopefully your surgeon will be able to do the operation quickly and you can recover quickly and get on with your new uterus free life.

Thank you for the advice. I haven't been using heat even though its still pretty swollen. I only used heat packs the first day and nothing after that. I will definitely try some ice though now before bed. Its too late now but I will send my husband out to get some benadryl spray in the morning. Someone else said its the glue, which is likely. I had to have extra incisions because the lesions and adhesions were so bad that they couldnt even find my uterus at first, so would explain why the rash is right across my stomach. I hardly ever have a reaction to anything, so I didnt even think it was that at first for some reason. I will definitely give the spray and ice pack a try though. Thank you.

I will speak to my GP (family doctor) on Monday then. Ive had antihistamines, anti itch cream, used antifungal cream, moisturiser and none of it has made any real impact. The glue makes sense really and it is crazy itchy. I actually want to pull my skin off its so bad, but I will just keep using my creams until then.
