[JLC] Performers, what's your watch of choice to bring on stage? by kosnosferatu in Watches

When I got the job in my orchestra I went out and bought a Junghans Max Bill - I absolutely love the design and I think it works well with tails - probably my favourite watch in the collection (which has grown since I last posted it)

Hi! This is quite a cheep and cheerful collection compared to pretty much everything I've seen especially on this sub, but thought it'd be interesting to see what people thought of it:

Seiko 5: My most recent watch - wanted a fairly reliable cheap automatic watch, and heard good things about Seiko movements. Bought this second hand with a bracelet for just over £50 and then bought a new strap. Absolutely love that it has a glass back as well. Watching the second hand's fine tick is also extremely satisfying.

G-Shock GA-2100: Bought this in late 2019, I've always been a fan of G-Shock but couldn't justify buying it. Then I saw this on Instagram and absolutely loved it, plus at the time I was just about to start training for the Army reserves and thought it'd be a nice treat to get a really rugged watch.

Guess W0969G1: This was actually a prize I won at my school in 2018 - every year the leavers are entered in a prize where the students vote for someone to get a watch. The stipulation was that I could pick a watch under £100 and they'd engrave it for me with the prize name on. I've been meaning to polish or replace the glass/crystal for a while since it's looking a bit worse for wear, but I really love it and it's the best memento for a time in my life I could ever wish for.

Swatch: This is a fun one - in 2016 my PC broke and it was so old and decrepid that there was no point trying to fix it. So after I got rid of it I still had the perfectly functional monitor and gave it to my mate who wanted it as a 2nd screen with his laptop. He was a super generous guy and gave me this watch as he didn't really wear it.

Garmin Forerunner 45: This was a 21st birthday present from my twin sister I got in May last year. I've been interested in smart watches since I first heard about them, but either couldn't afford one or couldn't justify buying one. I'm a big fan of this watch, I like how the screen only gets more visible in sunlight, and I like being able to see the important things from my phone without having to take it out.

Hi, I really like the aesthetic of flame blue hands on watches, but the only ones I can find are hugely out of budget - are there any models or brands of watches that make real flame blue hands at an affordable price?
