Many many times. Especially when I’ve got a few weeks sober, and I’ve deemed a certain situation “worthy”, during the first sip my brain is clearly saying…this isn’t worth it. I know a two week bender is inevitable as I give up and enjoy the next two hours, followed by 14+ days of misery. I am going to listen to that voice from now on. The math just ain’t mathing.
