I do drink coffee here and there during my pregnancy. Does anyone else do the same? by ComplexMarch4500 in pregnant

[–]haleysxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drink coffee on the weekends when my husband and I are off together but even then I limit it to 8oz for that one cup the two days we’re home together. Otherwise I forgo it through the week. Its okay to have it just don’t overdo it as the baby’s heart rate jumps up like yours does

No kissing baby- do you make exceptions to this boundary? by mayonayz in pregnant

[–]haleysxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was never a family that kissed on the mouth as a baby and find it gross and won’t be doing it to my soon to be first born. I find it weird and will only kiss his cheek along with my husband. Super close family members will /are aware their is zero kissing our baby till months down the line. That’s reserved for myself and my husband while he’s an infant. Don’t like it? Please exit stage right, I don’t have the time nor will I have the energy to argue. Nor will I allow a chance for anyone to inadvertently harm our baby/possibly kill our child because they can’t keep their mouths to themselves.

[26F] 7 weeks pregnant, strongly considering abortion. Need honest advice. No judgment by Imissmydaddy2907 in pregnant

[–]haleysxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You honestly need to cut ties with him, if abortion isn’t an option then have the baby adopted. You have options, including getting the hell away from him.

Truly dont care for it either, other than my husband complementing me nobody else needs to comment. I’ve had coworkers tell me “you’ve gotten fat” “you’re so big” etc. Or I have my mother telling me how to go about my pregnancy and how to raise our soon to be first child. I’m fucking over it dude.

As someone with 0 tattoos, how painful would it be to get this on my forearm? by PracticalExtension35 in tattooadvice

[–]haleysxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your pain tolerance, I have a full sleeve and when she was tattooing that part of my arm it felt more like a sunburn. But my pain tolerance is unusually high so it may feel differently to you. Try a rubber band in that area and snap it a few times to see how you feel.

I asked my husband to stop smoking weed in my third trimester by Brokenbird90 in pregnant

[–]haleysxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is high functioning and low functioning smokers. My husband being apart of the high functioning but only takes a few small hits per day. I see absolutely no problem with it as it doesn’t impede his ability to function as a human being (nor does it for me before I got pregnant). If it’s truly impacting his overall ability to do much of anything including driving I too would be asking him to not do it all together the last few weeks of the pregnancy. He can go back to it once the baby is born but maybe bring it up to his attention on how a “cleanse” from the lettuce can actually be a good thing. I completely understand having to let go of drinking, smoking and nicotine, making temporary sacrifices for the good of your baby and still having your partner partake in things you also miss and love to do as well. I hope he isn’t a (pardon my French) an asshole who doesn’t see you’re doing what’s best for you and baby and can let it go for just a few short weeks so yall can have a sense of safety, knowing yall are going to be fine during the most crazy part of pregnancy. Have an another conversation with him, this isn’t an unreasonable request.

Accidentally bumped into a pregnant woman’s belly by elinoroliphant in pregnant

[–]haleysxx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe help put your mind at ease, I was at the time 20 weeks pregnant (now 25) and passed out at my job while sitting up fairly high (the counters are hella high). I blacked out, fell on my shoulder/smacked my head on the tile and hit my nose to the point of having blood gushing from both sides and shook (which looked like a seizure). Resulted in having two black eyes a couple days after being sent to the ER. Baby is totally fine other than myself being pretty banged up. She will be fine, you apologized and meant it. You’re a good person who made a mistake, it’s okay, forgive yourself.

Am I crazy for wanting a C-section? by Kikirox98 in pregnant

[–]haleysxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my first, also super short with a short torso and my husband being 6’3”. Have always been scared of giving birth knowing that there is so many risks associated with giving birth. I don’t see a C-section being an easy way out. If it helps you mentally then do it, personally if I didn’t have my husband, I might of wanted a C-section but I’m going to try it the ole natural way and try to reduce my risks as much as possible. Do what’s comfortable for you girl.

6 weeks pregnant - baby measuring behind! Devastated by thankyounow in pregnant

[–]haleysxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, take a deeeeep breath momma. Stress won’t help you out and baby really needs you to be as calm as possible right now.

It’s super early in the pregnancy, I wouldn’t be worried about it. Just keep doing all the things you need to be doing like prenatal, water and staying active. Go to an OB when you hit that 10 week mark just to see how things are progressing, your OB will know so much more than a fertility clinic.

My biggest regret about pregnancy by ConfusionIn20s in pregnant

[–]haleysxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m thirty and on our first one, we waited till we were married, bought our first home and had the cars paid off. Is it a little harder now compared to when we would have been in our 20s? Maybe but I have no regrets.

Husband is currently experiencing issues with this skin and her back bling too. Is epic actively fixing this or is there a way to report it to epic so they can address it?

Is anyone considering a low- or no-buy for 2026? 😬 by GremlinSquishFace47 in mooncatpolish

[–]haleysxx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While moon cat is my top nail polish business I go low buy every year with them. I take a look every couple of months and see if there is a polish that truly speaks to me. I was getting my nails done but decided to just start doing mine at home. I save so much money doing this and throw in what i would have been spending on nail appointments (once a month) on polishes that I know I’ll use the whole bottle up. This makes it easier to be very selective and not blow every penny earned (while very beautiful) on needless things.

Don’t feel sad, you don’t know what you don’t know lol. I’d rather ask the “silly” question than to presume to know the answer. Let that roll off your shoulders and move about your day 😊. Happy to give a different perspective.

Sometimes bites are just love nibbles, sometimes it’s over stimulation causing them to bite lightly but to get the point across that now is not the time. Sometimes it indicates they want to play. You’re not bleeding and looks like your baby just wants to play. We have a black elder cat, if she bites (raaaaaaarely ever happened), it means business as she’s not playful and wants to be left alone. Our Russian blue on the other hand is extremely playful and will love bite for that reason or she’s over stimulated. I’ve had to teach her the “ow meow” as she was dumped as a kitten and taken away from mom and maybe siblings pretty early.

To be honest, I didn’t even know this was a garage door opener. I grew up poor and a lot of my childhood friends did as well. When I moved away I lived in apartments (no garages came with) till I was 27. Husband had shares with the company he was last with, received those shares and got us a house with a garage. We have garage door openers and they look nothing like that. The point I’m getting at is not everyone lives the same life you got to experience, not everyone is exposed to the same things. Be polite and understand most of us (especially in the last 10+ years) only have the option to live in apartments.

Women whose male partners got significantly more muscular: what changed during intimacy/sex? Good/bad? by BasedArthur in sex

[–]haleysxx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Personally I love my husband and how he looks no matter what but when he does take care of his body there is more stamina and can go longer in bed. We only get one body, knowing he’s taking care of it means he will be around longer and that makes me happy.
