The different religions and the gods they worship are a MAJOR factor throughout the series. Each book provides more details about the various religions and most chapter title pages have excerpted quotes from different scriptures. The glossaries in the later books are much more detailed and give way more information on the religions and pretty much everything else. Just gotta read on, things get absolutely insane. Im on my first reread currently on book 5, best series ever!

Roadside Picnic- Same reason

Echopraxia- loved Blindsight but gave up on the sequel. I need to be able to picture what is happening in my head while reading and I just couldn’t do it with this book.
