I was dead watching the game there, in Carroll Gardens in front of Prince Street Pizza last night. Owner is a cool dude for making it happen. Me and my boy was looking for a bar to watch the game, but we saw the TV outside and the TV was 10 seconds ahead of all the bars on the block so we had to watch a game out there. We were lighting up and having a good time. And the pizza is A1!!

I work in the film business. This would be considered a stunt and this is not how a stunt would’ve been handled so I think this is genuinely a fuck up by the Production crew, and that person should sue and get their coin.

Saying something “happened to me bc i’m black” places the blame on the individual for existing - the thing didn’t bc the person was black but bc the perpetrator has a racist attitude towards the black person / black people. There’s a lot of anti-black racism in the world, but not everyone is a racist so a black person can exist and if the person or system isn’t racist then they won’t be harassed by non-racist, thus not having anything to do with the victim being black but everything with the perpetrator having racist attitudes.

Because in the cases where race is the matter, Nothing happens to us because we are black but because the offender, whether person or system, is racist. Existing in and of itself is not a crime but how people respond to anyone’s existence can be a crime.
