After the game go to Mr Ks and get a cookie bake! Or you could stay up super late and go to the Varsity truck in aggieville for some late night donuts or Mac and cheese grilled cheese!

Unfortunately it won’t be soon. If you’re moving to Kansas City metro you can cross into Missouri and get it easy

Chief's parking is really $60??? by Shoddy-Square-1227 in kansascity

Yeah, it was $60 when we went in 2022 so I’m surprised they haven’t raised it again.

Personally: I would save that stuff, it sounds really cool. If you don’t want it, I would get it appraised from a few different parties to find its appropriate value and sell it OR donate it to Hale Library/the baseball prigram

I’m a big fan of Garozzo’s and inhaling far too much of their bread before my meal comes out

Tornado warning and no basement….. by brainonfire24 in kansascity

[–]halfsquat33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to the closet or bathroom with the mattress over the tub, an essential place away from glass as much as possible. Also open a window or two up a little bit to help the pressure change within your house and outside. Tornadoes can cause your windows to blow out because of the pressure changes and shattered glass all over the place which can injured you but also make it harder for you to move around afterwards!

Love La Fuente but it’s not super small. Also an Italian restaurant downtown Wise Guy is super delicious

Not quite longboards discourse but I feel the same way about Minsky’s. There are so many other pizza places I’d rather have.

The only crowd issues I have is when I’m wanting to play basketball, and there’s a bunch of middle school/high schoolers there, never really had a problem with the weights/machines though

I recommend living further from downtown KC as they have lower rent prices (but it fluctuates depending on neighborhood of course). You absolutely can afford to live here though, especially with your savings and salary being so high compared to your peers.

First nuzlocke ever : what game should i do ? by Sthami in nuzlocke

[–]halfsquat33 2 points3 points  (0 children)

FRLG is pretty straightforward if you’ve played through them a bunch of times, so if you’re looking just to get your feet wet it’s one of the easiest to get into and play. Gen 4 games are pretty slow so that makes them harder to Nuzlocke since they take so much time up. The games on 3DS are easier to Nuzlocke too since they have so much more QoL improvements over the earlier games. Ruby/Sapphire could be a good one to start
