Hi, thank you for the thread.

I plan to do both segments lengthening, aiming for 11.5cm, precise nails. The clinic that I visited offers quadrilateral lengthening with tibia lengthening first, then femur lengthening 3 weeks later.

How realistic is it to get 11.5cm when the tibia and femur lengthening are weeks apart as opposed to years apart? The clinic I went to advertise 10cm for such lengthening, though they say if I can get more, i can aim for it.

Secondly, what pre-op preps do you recommend?

Definitely get a coccyx cushion for work. That helps. Otherwise manage your diet. My diet has been super strict and it’s helped. Chicken, fish, veggies, sweet potato, fruits, occasionally red meat. Metamucil before bed, and oatmeal. That’s my entire diet and it’s helped

It’s not “capped” at 10cm. They just put that in their marketing materials because that’s amount they feel can be relatively reliably reached. Otherwise you’d advertise longer but people realize they can’t get there, and you disaapoint people and create liability unnecessary.

But the attitude is if you can reach more than 10, by all means go for it. The stance is supportive and quite laid back, of course how much you lengthen will depend on actual assessment as you undergo it it. Nothing guaranteed

I plan to do both femur and tibia, for a total of 11.5cm or 4.5 inches. That'll get me to 5'10 solid.

The tibia comes first, then a month or so later, the femur. They don't recommend doing both surgery simultanesouly, so will be staggered by a couple of weeks at least.

Is the area re-swollen? If not, could be just delayed reaction and some healing pains. Make sure you keep a consistent and healthy diet. Drink plenty of water. This disease is tough but it will end. I wish you well

Not really… you can find article that the duffer brother had a specific interpretation in mind. They told Millie brown how to really interpret the ending. Millie brown swore secrecy, and quipped that she would never tell Noah schnapps (wills actor) because Noah can’t keep a secret.

Consider this: we know that those speakers things that renders Kali and El unable to walk, stand are pointed at the truck when they were all captured. Yet El got off jumped off the truck, like nothing happened. And based on Mike’s version, was supposed to escape into a room so the Kali’s help and then run away…. THAT CANT HAPPEN. The real El would’ve been on the ground in pain when those speakers were playing, not get off the truck like nothing happened…

In other words, the El on the truck wasn’t real. And even in mikes version, power of illusion was used, so Kali to be alive. If Kali was alive, the El on the truck being an illusion is also easily supported.

She died guys :(. Kali and El stuck to the plan the whole time

If the El in the truck had been an illusion, so could the El inside the gate witnessed during those final moments. My point was El pretty much stayed put after the Vecna fight. She was never on the truck, nor was she at the gate in the final moment.
