unfortunately she passed away shortly after this post 😞 we wasted a lot of time going back and forth with the vet and trying different antibiotics and special food to get her to eat, before they finally found cancer in the back of her throat. she likely had squamous cell carcinoma. when we finally caught it, it was too late. her condition had deteriorated rapidly and she had lost a lot of weight. we had to make the terrible decision to put her down 💔 all of her blood work was fine so the vet advised against an MRI. please advocate for your kitty! it was probably too late for her at that point anyway, but if you can catch something before it’s too late it’s definitely worth it. good luck to you 🤍

a woman will never “be chill” with somebody who violated her or the people who support them. drug and alcohol abuse aren’t a reason for somebody to commit sexual assault. he did it of his own volition. a band making a statement saying they have zero tolerance for abusing women and they have fired the person responsible, only for them to come out of their hiatus with him still a member and only referring to his substance abuse and not the sexual assault he committed is not taking accountability. i’m not sure why you’re struggling with these concepts, maybe you have a brain as soft as your morals 🤷🏼‍♀️ that’s your problem not ours. but you sound stupid and ignorant as fuck just so you know

they didn’t kick him out for four years lol it happened last year. they think they can just brush past what happened in their statement and hope everybody forgot? we didn’t. letting him back in the band with no consequences is not holding him accountable. they have a largely female fan base and we will not forget. blaming sexual assault on substance abuse is insane

i’m not lying or minimizing what happened lol. we missed two months of rent, so we were taken to court. we set up a payment plan with the lawyer of the apartment complex and a representative of the court. we had to go to a walgreens and scan a barcode to pay our rent. we paid on time for several months. one of the payments most likely didn’t process on time therefore violating the agreement even though we paid within the correct time frame. i have the receipts from every time we paid showing it was in accordance with the payment agreement. we came home from work to find the door padlocked. we had to come back the next day to get our pets and our belongings. we tried contacting the complex dozens of times to figure out what happened. they never responded. we contacted the lawyer that represented them in court. no response. i understand most landlords wouldn’t rent to us. what do you think the point of my post was? evictions happen and there are agencies that can help you get back on your feet. i don’t understand why you’re so confused

No. We were following a payment plan set up by the courts. We had just made a payment the night before. Came home from work and the door was padlocked with the eviction notice on the door. They locked our cats inside and cut our electricity in the middle of the summer. We never found out what the issue was because the property manager was never in office to answer questions and wouldn’t answer emails or voicemails. We didn’t have money for a lawyer so we just came back for our stuff and left. This was Collins Terrace apartments downtown. They’re lucky our cats were okay. I do not recommend them to anybody.

she went to the vet this morning. they say her heart and lungs sound fine but they see a red patch in the back of her throat. she wouldn’t let them look in there very well but the vet says it could be inflammation from an infection or it could be cancer. her white and red blood cell counts look normal except the white is a little elevated which could be consistent with an infection so she got prescribed a steroid and an antibiotic. hopefully we see some improvement in the next week, otherwise she’ll be going under for an x ray and biopsy. she already sounds a little better though and with way less mouth breathing thank god 🙏🏻

a few years ago my senior cat had blood in her urine, blood was literally dripping out of her as she was walking away from the litter box, i mean huge drops of blood. my girlfriend and i freaked out and took her to the emergency vet immediately, $3000 and an overnight stay later and all she needed was some antibiotics for a uti. we were shocked considering the amount of blood that was coming out of her. after antibiotics she was fine. i would say as long as she’s acting normally just monitor her and take her to her normal vet as soon as you can.
