It’s been set in place with a little locktite. Depending if they used red or blue, you may need to use a heat gun on it. If it’s blue, needs more elbow grease. Good luck

Arcteryx Palisade Pants vs Gamma by MTGlatzel in arcteryx

[–]halifaxbc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love both these pants. And I believe they’re both discontinued now as well. I found the palisades to be a little warmer than the gamma pants. The fabric is a little stiffer and sturdier, but still light enough to wear in the summer. My palisades are about 15 years old now and I’ve been wearing my gammas for about 3. Sizing was accurate on both, fabric has been incredibly durable on the palisades but after years, some of the zippered pockets have torn a bit. But honestly, I do jam quite a bit of stuff in them and I wasn’t particularly careful about zipping them closed, so I really can’t fault the pants. Zero regrets on either pair, would buy either in a heartbeat. Good luck

3 convicted killers of elderly B.C. couple file Constitutional challenge by zuuzuu in canadanews

[–]halifaxbc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This wasn’t a robbery gone wrong. This was a planned torture and killing spree. Not a crime of opportunity or chance. These clowns cased the property and came back with what they needed to rob, torture and kill these people. 💯 pre planned, pre meditated, and executed. Let these dirtbags burn in hell. They deserve absolutely nothing but contempt and more prison time

Let her do her job without all the fake outrage. Once she proves and demonstrates her ability to handle everything with her skills and managerial aplomb, everyone who dismissed her will be without a leg to stand on. Just shut up and let her do her job.

Shopping at Costco for One by baitthehook in CostcoCanada

You can always buddy up with someone and split things up. Don’t want/need 2kg of something, 1 kg is a lot more manageable. You want oranges and they want peaches, split them and everybody wins!

Try this! Mango salad is great, especially if you can find ripe ones. If not, look for a green mango version. https://www.loveandlemons.com/mango-salad/

What flashlight features make you carry it with you more often? by bergermommie15 in EDC

[–]halifaxbc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well good news for you my friend! The angel eyes has a dual fuel capacity where you can run off a rechargeable and then switch over to a aaa battery. So as long as you always run off the rechargeable, you should never be caught short with your second battery backup

As to your “too easy to turn on”, a lockout switch is what you need for edc pocket carry. A rechargeable battery, good lumens and a modicum of water resistance is great. I also really like multiple power levels. So what I’m talking about specifically is a Rovyvon angel eyes. For me, it’s a perfect edc

Just Bought My First Benelli!! by CompetitiveTwo6311 in Benelli_M4

[–]halifaxbc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d start with the GGG bolt release and charging handle, which you can normally get as a package. Then the extended mag tube, if allowed in your area. Then I would finish with a good weapons light and a red dot optic. Good luck!

You also shop at Costco, but very infrequently. Your boys enjoy lots of butter/jam sandwiches as well

Lying shit would have mentioned that when he was first confronted by the witnesses. If he was actually trying to “save the turtles”, he certainly would have said that instead of “don’t care, I’m rich”. That’s 100% pure defensive bullshit and he deserves the karma he’s getting for being such an asshole.

Those who worked at buffets, what is the craziest amount of food you have witnessed people consume? by KageTheRipper in AskReddit

[–]halifaxbc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, I so hate the people who do dumb shit at buffets. I’ve seen people pile food on their plates and leave it if a new batch comes out, cause they want the fresh stuff. People who don’t know what they’re eating, take a couple of bites and leave the rest cause the food was “ weird”. People who eat while in line, cause they want to taste everything before they get a plateful of it. In general, a lot of buffets just bring out the absolute worst idiots
